Ongoing Sign in Issues on Neopets.com

Numerous users on our forums are reporting "blank page" problems when attempting to sign onto Neopets.com. Some users try and load other pages and remain logged out no matter what, as well. We're sure TNT is working on all of the issues at this time, and things should return to normal, hopefully soon. Submitting tickets will only slow things down, so unless you are having a unique issue, please refrain from doing so. (Stephanie, a TDN staffer, is reporting she "managed to log onto Neopets after gazillion years of loading, and refreshing")

 

We're in an up ROARRR! Oh, and don't forget, Sunday is National Talk Like a Pirate Day too!

One of TDN's forum members, Sir Toasty, puts the last 24 hours in great perspective. Here's his Neopian day in a jist:

1. Last night neopets was super slow (fine)
   
2. Then it was offline for hours (fine)
   
3. Then it came back (yay!)
   
4. Then there was a stamp avatar I can afford (YAY!)
   
5. So I went to log in and I'm frozen, but tnt didn't give me a reason (uhg)
   
6. Then I found out it wasn't for real (yay!)
   
7. So I come back a few hours later and try to log in, but can't get past the username entry page (uhg)
   
8. I try again 2hrs later and now I can't get past the password entry page (OI VEZ!)

I received a blank page as well. After trying about 5 times, I clicked submit without checking the box, and soon I was in.

It seems to be hit and miss as well. I was able to log into one side account last night. I can't log into that one right now, but I can log into a different one. Still getting that blank screen of death for yet another and my main. So frustrating! :grrr:

A problem I had that turned out to be less on TNT's end and more on mine was this; no matter how any times I checked the box that says I read the new TOS and Privacy Policy, it wouldn't let me submit it. And it wouldn't let me actually READ them. @_@ So on a weird stroke of inspiration, I checked my NoScript, and there were things being blocked... so I turned it off, and it let me in! =D

the Neopets is back up now. go to dailies and click snowanger which is sleep now then you login and seem working for me. Enjoy

I got into one side account to accept the new T&C... but I'm getting the same problem on the next. *facepalm*

I can't seem to log in either. I tried each of my side accounts too, and they didn't log in either.

And petpet park doesn't even finish loading the sign on screen! :ohno:

All of this disappoints me. I was really looking forward to playing Key Quest all day :crying:

I think it's a matter of persistence. I finally was able to after trying repeatably on a side account. Then I logged out and it took me almost ten minutes of trying, but I got into my main account. I don't think there's any trick--it's just hit and miss.

Today, I had no trouble logging into my main account. But I logged out, and tried to get in a side account, and couldn't. Now, I can't get back into my main.

 

One thing to watch for, (this happened to my husband last night) when trying repeatedly to submit your password, if you get something saying your password is wrong, I recommend leaving it alone for a bit, even if you know your password is right. Last night, when his password was correct, and it said it wasn't, he kept trying, and it locked him out for an hour.

Hmm, that must be what happened to me last night since I got the incorrect password message. I guess I'm not logging out of my main account until I know this is fixed.

I also spent several hours trying to log into one of my accounts last night. When I finally could get more than a blank page, I got the "wrong password" message too. So I logged out completely and tried again, and it worked just fine. If you keep getting this message, try clicking on "Logout," then start from scratch. Hopefully, that will work for you too.

I got back into my main a few minutes ago. Instead of refreshing or re-submitting the password page, I would just go back to the main Neopets page and start over.

The Wiz is really slow for me too. I can price items that I've stocked. I refresh and it takes forever to reload.

Huh, I was on the magma pool page when I tried logging in on another tab(Multitasker:P) to my main account. So, after a while I went over to the magma pool again and had a neomail. When I clicked on it, I was on my main account(Yay!) then, after replying and messing around a while, I decided to go back to the magma pool. When I did, it went to my side account! When I left it, it went back to my main again...How strange:O

I'm in! After doing '-username- Go -password- Go *blank page* repeat' for about 45 minutes either I got lucky or it's fixed.

My sister called me today saying she couldn't log in.. I hope they fix that soon!! My lil sister is scared! and I am too! BTW, my side exists now, I dunno what has been going on.. it was supposed to take just one day.. but I think it's for the best!
