Kouyouaki Posted September 17, 2010 Share Posted September 17, 2010 Hi, Can't seem to be able to sign up for a new account on neopets after the site was offline for infinity today. It gets to entering the email stage, and then says that there was an error and to try again. Any ideas why? Is anyone else having this issue? hrtbrk Posted September 17, 2010 Share Posted September 17, 2010 I believe that new registrations may be temporary offline as they were switching to a new system (hence the downtime). There has been many errors with the new system remembering passwords, etc. I'm sure TNT will address this soon. It said I was frozen, I panicked, checked my Pet's Look-Up, it was still there, checked my UL, it was still there. Odd. I read that some people on charter's theory is that if you've had your account frozen before, but weren't frozen at the time, the new system is going through so much work right now that it "sees" that you're still frozen - like it's cache is mixed up. (Not sure how that works but that's what they've collected after chatting amongst themselves).
