[Fixed!] Neopets is Down

At about 9 AM NST, Neopets went down. TNT recently gave an update via Twitter:

 

"Yup, site's down. Our theory is Meepits. Tech says datacenter networking issue. Pfft, like they'd know. (They're working on it!)"

 

Until they get everything working again, why not join the forums and chat while you wait?

 

UPDATE: The site is now back up!

"*looks around* Are they gone? It looks like it... It seems the Kougras have defeated the Meepits once again. Now it is time for the Grundos to come in and sweep up the mess. Hopefully the site will stay up now..."

They were totally down for a little over an hour earlier today from about 9 AM NST to 10 AM NST.

Those Meepits... I wasn't even awake then so I didn't notice. Neopets doesn't go down too often (though it lags like crazy sometimes), and it seems it wasn't down too long.

What happened when you tried to go to Neopets? Did it show you an error message? A list of games you could play meanwhile? A... (shudder)... meepit?

I was there too and it was a lie you could join the boards for a chat, nothing would open, nothing would work. I was neoquesting and neo mailing and suddenly nothing, it was as if the page didn't exist at all.. not like lag, that takes its time to download, but like... nothingness. I was like: OMG! They cookie grabbed TNT! x_x
