Stamp avvies...

I've embarked on the epic quest of tracking down those nasty little stamps in order to get the avvies... I'm assuming that the ones that don't show up in the Shop Wizard are super rare and I'll have to find them a different way... yes? Like Trading Post or Auctions?

Either way, just thought I'd let everyone know... this will consume me for a few days... *toils over computer*

 

Thoughts? Has anyone actually gotten those avvies? Or is this a hopeless quest?

This isn't hopeless, but you need to have quite a lot of money to get the stamp avatars. Some stamps sell for several million.

I figured as much... looks like I won't be completing this search anytime soon, but at least I can make a good dent in it...

Good luck! Many of those stamps can't be found on the TP, and the ones that can will cost you an arm and a leg -- figuratively, of course. I've managed to get all but 3 of the Lost Desert stamps, and of those 3, I can't find 1 and another has only 1 on the TP with no price listed, so it probably goes for a lot more than I'm willing to pay. I'd be very interested in seeing your progress, though! Please stay updated.

Good luck on your quest to find those stamps. Several months ago I bought several of the buyable sea shells and I think I'm only missing 5 at the moment.

I'm also attempting this. I'm trying to save up as much as I can for the more expensive stamps. I think I have most of the cheaper ones and the rest are a couple of million each. Hopefully this can be done before I'm old and grey :P

I'd love to get the avatars, but not my main focus. The Mystery Island page, is my most completed. (At 48%) Of all the stamps I'm missing, only one is buyable on the SW. The rest are unbuyable.

 

But I'll probably try harder for stamps, after I get my Draik.
