Mouseykins
Hi there, I've been having incredibly bad luck beating the meerca's in the battledome. I have tried i think 3 or 4 times and no such luck. my battle set contains the following items: honey potion leaf shield scarab ring snowglobe staff purple sticky hand downsize greater healing scroll snowball slingshot I have also used these items water muffins thick smoke bomb supersize thief dagger Is there anything better I can add without spending a ton of neopoints. Also if anyone knows better items that aren't one use only such as the smoke bomb that would be great. I'm open to trying just about everything at this point! Also if you plan on looking at my pets stats the one I'm battling with is Icysia4.
Octopus
How badly are you losing? Like, do you manage to knock of half of the henchmens HP before losing? I think your weapons are good enough and that you should raise your strength and defense (especially defense!) since you're close to the next boosts anyways. Mouseykins
ok well I've managed to get them in the red and have minimal health points myself. but i can't seem to finish them off. i know nothing of the boosts. i'm just a beginner at the battledome. Lamppost
While your set looks a lot like what I had when I beat them, you might want to consider using a Prickly Potion or two. They helped me defeat the Space Faerie, and while I haven't looked for one recently, I think they're not too expensive.
Mouseykins
ok well i'm trying the rest of the water muffins that i bought now that i raised my health points a bit from the healing springs. i'm hoping this time will be the one i'll win. but if not i'll try prickly potions. its too bad we can only have 8 items equipped to our pets at once. if anyone has more suggestions i'm open to everything. EDIT: Well I have now tried a couple more times and I can't get no where. i was able to damage them 135hp but in return i was damaged 215hp and that was in one round. is there a weapon that is not a one use item that does a lot of damage. at the moment i don't care about cost i just want to beat these guys lol. any help would be great! Octopus
Defense to 55, Strength to 85 and you should be able to beat them-your stats are close so it shouldn't take too long. Once you reach a certain boost your pet will be able to defend/attack with more damage. Octopus
Good luck! I should follow my own advice too, I'm still getting pounded by those henchmen XD
Pirate Dante
Ok, here's an easy way: Get 2 Voidberry Potions (About 100k each) and Thick Smoke Bomb. Now, you start with 2 V-Pots and Burrow, then with 2 V-Pots and Sink (You must not get frozen on either turns, and deal 81 damage [You can get frozen, and hope they hit 0). Then, follow with Thick Smoke Bomb, Water Muffin and Berzerk (Or Fierce if you don't have Berzerk). Most likely even an Golden Compass will be enough to beat them, but they may use Sink.
