However, I am somewhat tempted to try for a rare, expensive pet that could be traded for a UC pet some day. That's probably a bad idea, especially since I have a dreamie in mind. I is so excited! :D I entered softyarya for a Desert Draik. :wub_anim: I didnt do Faerie because I want the Desert clothes first. Masaryk - I would go for the expensive pet! A Mara Acara can always be bought, but a UC cannot. Heh heh that rhymed! But if you really wanted the Mara Acara.... I'm hoping to get Evarise, but no promises >.< There was one other applicatn who said all her pets are permies who have excellent custom profiles and are always cared for.. I did get a reply that said they wouldn't let me adopt at all because I asked if I could adopt sooner... :P Yay! Masaryk Posted December 11, 2010 Share Posted December 11, 2010 I usually fight the Lab Ray Scientist in the Battledome to change a pet's gender. I you have the Lab Map, and you have the Lab Ray Scientist as a BD challenger, that's the cheapest and easiest way. If not, you could always transfer your pet to someone with the Lab Scientist, so they can change if for you. I always keep my eyes open for Draiks that are UFA on the Premium boards, and I post the links here. There was one not too long ago, but I can't remember when the deadline was. I could hatch it, name it whatever, then save up for the maps.. zap it to female, complete fountain faerie quest.. And viola :O Well, IF i was lucky enough to get the faerie quest.
