Mouseykins
I'm a proud owner of two female purebred Jack-Russel Terriers. Anyways I could talk all day about them so I'll make this short. I'm interested in what kind of quirky things your dogs do and if they're like what mine do. My oldest Angel whose 8 is a TV fanatic! I'm not kidding right now I'm watching a grooming show on the Animal Planet channel and she's sitting about three feet in front of the TV and she's watching and whining. It's cute until she starts jumping and trying to attack the animals on TV. My youngest one is the craziest. Her name is mouse and she's three. First off a little history on how she got her name. When she was born she was literally the size of a mouse and would fit in the palm of your hand she was so small. She liked burrowing herself into the blanket we had in their bed after Angel had her pups. The unique thing about Mouse is that she loves to play and is the happiest little thing. One of her favorite games to play is fetch. A couple years ago we found a soft but durable ball with a bell inside which we call her jingly ball and she knows the name too. Anyways out in the yard we throw the ball and she will run after it and most of the time she will jump in the air and catch it. When she jumps most of the time she does some really cool flips and she can jump really high almost 5 feet to be exact since she almost scaled our fence lol. So after my little story here what kind of crazy things do your dogs do? Also does anyone know the proper weight an 8 year old Jack-Russel should be? I look forward to hearing your crazy stories! Meagan
I don't have a Jack Russell, but I do have a Lab, and a Boxer/Pitbull X. My Lab, his name is King, likes to lay on his back when he chews things, and holds whatever he is chewing between his paws! It's very cute :wub_anim: ! My Boxer/Pitbull mix is named Pebbles, because she had a white face that has little black spots that look like pebbles :) She is just over a year old now, and she's very rambunctious. She likes to climb our 6 foot privacy fence... :ohno: She will go to the corner, put her paws up, and climb. We now have to go outside and watch her every time we let her out, or else we'll have to scour the town to find her, lol!

sjoudrey
I adopted a husky/german shepherd/greyhound mix 2 years ago from the local animal shelter. He was heavily abused and tied outside for 5 years 24/7. He's such a sweetheart, but he had a lot of issues. He's turned out to be quite the great dog, and getting him was probably one of the greatest things I've ever done. very rewarding.
Mimii
Aww, I used to have a dachshund named Mojojojo. I miss him terribly still. :( The best part of Mojo was that if you jingled keys he would FREAK OUT and start jumping around and if you dropped the keys, he would take them in his little mouth and start running around in in our house (it was kind of a circle.. the whole house went around in a circle. o_O ) and he would not stop.. I mean for HOURS.. if we let him. Same effect when we said the word 'Go?' with a questioning tone. He expected keys next. He liked to LICK, too. He could also sit there and lick your arm for hours upon hours. It was some comfort thing with him. Your skin would be raw and he'd still be licking it. Ohh boy I miss that dog. Shane for Wax
I'm the owner of a female miniature poodle (Mocha) and a white miniature schnauzer (Sophie). We also own a white greyhound (Buckeye) that we adopted from the greyhound rescue nearby. My family also fosters greyhounds. We recently adopted out a cow colored female greyhound. :)
Guest eileenbobeen
i have a yorkshire terrier, he's soo cute :) the most lovable thing about mocha is that if you pet him and then stop, he places his paw on your hand and looks up at you >.< i have a serious question though-- my dog has been throwing up for that last month, everyday. it's not full-on throwup, he just pukes in his mouth and then just swallows .. i thought it was normal because we do that sometimes too, but a friend recently told me he probably has some kind of disease or stomach problem =( i'm going to the vet soon, but anybody have any idea why mocha's doing this? he hasn't changed his diet in the last 2-3 months and he doesn't do much exercise after eating..
