Which avatar do you want the most?

So I checked the archives and I know there was a thread like this a while ago, but I haven't seen one recently so I figured I'd start one up. As per the title:

1. Which avatar(s) do you want the most?

 

2. Which avatar(s) are you most proud of getting?

3. Which avatar(s) do you think is the toughest/rarest to get?

 

 

And to answer my own questions:

Space Faerie- I've always liked the design for the Space Faerie and I think the avvie is pretty. But I am soooo far from being a BD'er/having the necessary stats + weapons +NPs it's not even funny. And I don't have her as a challenger anyway; so this one seems the most unattainable. My second choice would probably be the ZDAP avatar. Again, I really like the design/concept for the character + I think the avvie is pretty. EDIT: added the Discarded Grundo Plushie because I think it's adorable; too bad random avatars hate me. :( and I love blumaroos, so I would love to get Blumaroo-Fire... got keep collecting so I can join the pet chain.

Faerie Bubbles and Typing Terror- I suck at game avatars, so I'm pretty pleased that I managed to get these two.

From the Neoboards it seems like finding a Super Attack Pea is pretty tough. Lever of Doom and Number Six seem to be the other hard ones because they seem to cost oodles of NPs. EDIT: completely forgot about Bilge Dice- Lucky Streak and Dicearoo-Jackpot. Unfortunately I'm just not that lucky.

^ I REALLY want the Kadoatery - Mew!, Neopian Times Star, and Neopian Times Writer avatars. I've never fed any kads...but I don't wanna until I get my dreamie out of the way x3 then the other two are both NT related that I personally admire x3

They're not impossible to get, so hurray for that, at least. Getting the neopian times avatars would be pretty great too.

2- Most of the avatars I've gotten weren't really hard to get. All the game avatars I've gotten so far I'm pretty happy about tho. I'm pretty terrible at games.

3- All the stamp and other expensive avatars are def the hardest to get, but I also see the Caption Contest avatar to be impossible. I'm not funny at all :'(

Oh and Bilge Dice - Lucky Streak! Win 10 games in a row? Forget it.

I've just started collecting, so I don't have a lot...

My most wanted avatars are kind of weird.

 

1. & &. For Chef Bonju I've just gotta wait until August... I've got the items chillin' in my SDB. I love the Geraptiku one because of my personal love for LOST and Ice-Cream Machine is my favourite game by far- but I can't beat my high score of 11,000 so I will probably never get it.

 

2. & &

These are some of the only avatars I've really had to TRY to get, haha. The Finneus one because I've always thought it was awesome and it took me FOREVER to complete that stupid water plant part. Eliv Thade because it's one of my only game avatars. (Even though it was super easy.) The Negg Festival because its one of the few site events I actually made an effort to participate in.

 

3. IDK. Many of the game / expensive item / site contest ones are completely unattainable by me ;P

I've always liked the Typing Terror avatar ever since I learnt how to touch type and ALMOST get an avatar score everytime I finish the game. (very close >_<). And both of the Neopian Times ones are very pretty. :3 I also find the Kadoatery avatar adorable and learning how to kad would be fun if I mastered it. XD The Maths Nightmare one is another favourite looking avatar of mine, however, I don't think I'll be getting close to the high score table anytime soon. Finally, the Aisha Scalawag one has been bugging me for months, I'll be very happy when the times comes to getting that avatar. :P

 

2. Which avatar(s) are you most proud of getting?

 

 

Aha, yes, I'm very proud of most of the avatars that I have attained. XD The space faerie one is one of my proudest battledome ones as I was trusted by a very nice stranger when they gave me a code after battling tibbles, my darigan tonu. Which brings me onto the Tonu- Charge! avatar. At the time, I was so happy when I saved up enough for a darigan paint brush and painted tibbles myself. Since then, I've been occassionally helping others get that avatar. ^^

Most of my game avatars have been extremely frustrating, but exciting to achieve since for some games, it took over a year to practise and play every day. x_x There are quite a few to mention, but the games that I remember most notably was Destruct-o-match and very recently, Freaky Factory!

Another more recent avatar to my collection was the Random Contest one, which I was very surprised to discover that I was one of the first place entries, that really lifted up my spirits. ^^

Now, Lenny Fineus... I had a rough time with the Altador plot, so I was very happy when I finished it. XD

And finally, Draik- Hatched. I like my draik very much and never in my whole time of playing Neopets would I think that I could be able to trade my Fountain Faerie Quest for one. :D

 

3. Which avatar(s) do you think is the toughest/rarest to get?

 

I would have to say some of the very expensive avatars (SuAP and MSPP) or the game scoring/ high score table related avatars.

I really love how adorable the Attack of the Slorgs and Maths Nightmare avatars are, but I'm just not quite ready to attempt most of the gaming avatars. Sutek's Tomb was too easy lol. I also love all things chocolate, so I would love to have the Chocolate one. I'm just not one for restocking just yet. Annnnd I'm working on Gadsgadsgame at the moment. I would love to achieve that one.

 

 

2. Which avatar(s) are you most proud of getting?

 

 

I am so proud of my Festival of Neggs avatar. I'm somewhat new with this current Neopets account, and so this is one of the few exclusive avatars I'll be able to obtain (by this I mean ones you get from participating in something on the site like a plot). The other one I'm really proud of is the Lenny Altador plot avatar, because that was a lot of work but a lot of fun, and it was the first plot I ever participated in. I'm sad I didn't pay attention to the AotA plot when it was happening, because then I could have gotten that avatar too. And then there are some I'll never have a chance at, like the Raiders of Maraqua (I think that's what it's called?) ones. le sigh :sad02:

 

3. Which avatar(s) do you think is the toughest/rarest to get?

 

 

I love how the Aisha Scalawag avatar looks, but it's pretty difficult to obtain from what I hear. Also, the Wheel of Knowledge annoys me enough with the whole deal where I pay 500NP to hear a faerie tell me what a good job I'm doing taking care of my pets <_< and so I'm basically just expecting to never get the avatar, yet hoping to one day be pleasantly surprised. Number Six is only hard to obtain because of the collateral it requires. But most of the other item/pet avatars can be done through lending so I wouldn't consider them tough to get. Lastly, considering how insanely difficult most of us found MBV to be during the Festival of Neggs, scoring 800+pts would probably be pretty tough for most of us, lol :laughingsmiley:

As an author, I have always wanted to obtain both the NT ones, the first one because it looks absolutely amazing, and the second NT one because it is just plain awesome. I put the Kad - *mew* one there because I want to feed just ONE kad and I'll be happy.

Hm... the wheel ones, stamp ones, MSSP, SuAP, etc. Also the Avatar Collector one.

Pretty well anything random for me, too. Snowager, Lever of Doom, etc.

1. What do I want?

I'm saving up for the last three stamps for the Snowy Valley page. It will be a ton of work, but that avatar is so cute! I'm also working on some things for the NT. So far I've gotten one story in, and I have a series that I'm tying up. As for the Meowclops, I'll need to find a kind lender for that one.

 

2. What am I most proud of?

The first two there I got completely by luck. Things just happened to line up the right way. Petpetsitter was my first real game avatar, so I was super excited when I got that one. Sewage Surfer took me forever, so I'm quite fond of it.

 

3. Which ones are the hardest to get?

I'd say the NT one for getting in a certain edition, the caption contest one that works the same, and the stamp avatars. The first are fantastic timing, the others take AGES to save up for.

I play buried treasure pretty much every chance I get, and no luck with the avatar. And the battle faerie one just looks cool. I love the look of the Deserted Tomb (besides it's an awesome daily!) Another favorite daily of mine is tdmbgpop (I was super excited when it became a daily). I'm working on Number Six right now. Also working on Neodaq. I like the Soup Faerie image, but I didn't get it when I had very little NPs, and now I have waay too much for it. (Did I mention I'm saving for Adam?) Been working on typing terror too. And ZDAP and SuAP just look awesome.

 

Uh, I kinda want these too.

Most of them are really hard to get, that's why I want them so much.The Lenny Conundrum is easier to get that's why I hope to get it of this list soon

This are pretty expensive avatars and I got them all for FREE so I'm pretty darn proud of it.And it was really hard and exhausting to finish the Altador plot so I feel really good for having the Lenny Finneus avatard

Some are really expensive and some are simply hard to get because of the low chance of an event happening, so I'm not expecting to get this avatars anytime soon

Honestly, I want all the avvies I don't have since I collect. There are a lot that I want but I think I can get when I start trying/saving for them. Those are just the ones I love and are sort of a pipe dream for me.

But I'd give up all my avvies for these ones:

The saddest part is I played neo during this plot, I just didn't do it. Boo :(

I think I inadvertently sent a score for this war; I can't even remember doing it. I just am proud of it because I think a lot of people wish they had it, and I do :laughingsmiley:

Didn't take nearly as long as it does for some people, but it took a lot of clicking and I love how it looks (its my current avvie)

I was so proud to finally finish the game!

Ditto GTU, it took a lot of work and I was happy to get this far. I also have Bionic Cybunny but this one is cuter. I'm almost at NQI- Wise and Powerful, which I like the most ^_^

Honestly, there is so many that are tough I'm not even going to list them. Stamps for sure, and Avatar Collector.

I'm proud because I got it through my own initiative and patience. I bought the Mazzew, attached it to my pet, and waited and waited and waited and waited... It's like I passed my own marshmallow test (you know, the marshmallow experiment by Walter Mischel at Stanford University). :)
