I refreshed that page for 2 weeks and i didn't get the avatar! Is it normal or i am very unlucky ?

Also, this may sound offensive, but make sure you don't already have it... if you have a lot of avatars, it could be that you missed this one in your list xD; I've had that on my previous account.

I know your pain though. xD I've done it for a fair few hours for a while every other day, (not constant constant, but enough) and still nothing... Oh well... -shrugs-

oh well that sucks! all you have to do is just keep refreshing and refreshing. just like the magma pool! except the magma pool took 2 days and not 2 weeks... have luck!!

Just hold down F5

then every couple minutes check your avvie count.

I haven't been able to get this yet. I've tried refreshing a good amount on a few occasions. And btw, I believe I've read that holding down F5 is considered cheating by TNT. Though I did hear that in regards to attaching petpetpets. But I would think that would apply here too.

I thought it was only considered cheating if you put and left an item on the F5 key as then you are not doing it yourself...

Yes. Refreshing constantly is against the rules for you increase your chance for random events and you might use a 'bot' doing so for you.

Just stick the telly on and keep hitting refresh (obviously not too often incase TNT things your an automatic refresher and freezers you). Took me around 2 months but I got there in the end. Don't bother checking for the event though, just keep checking your avatar count on your userpage :P

It took me an awfully long time as well. The refreshing can definitely get boring :(

Don't worry though, it isn't unusual for it to take a while. You will get it eventually! :yes:

Once I'm there, I refresh a couple of times and then move on to dailies or whatever. I really hope it doesn't take me 2 months! yeesh!

holding down F5 is not a freezable offense by itself. how much you do it and by what means matters.

So after reading all this, I manually held down F5 for 5 min and got the avatar somewhere along the line. Is that super lucky or what? I realise this topic is around a year old so maybe the frequency changed somewhere along the line? Maybe my internet connection (~100 mb/s) and computer speed (Substantially Juiced up for Witcher III playing) made it register more often? idk
