I need to cure my packrat-ness

A few days ago, I finally got the packrat avatar. Thing is, I'm still hoarding everything in my SDB, is there anyway to fix this? D:

It takes time, I'm still trying to empty mine, but it will take a LONG WHILE!

Well, that depends on whether or not you actually want to hoard stuff. I have over 5000 items in my SDB. After I got Packrat, I kept stuff because I'm one of those people that has to own EVERY ITEM IN THE GAME!!! Of course, I realise that I can't do this with Neopets, but I still keep stuff either because I like it or because it might be useful for a Faerie Quest.

 

If you want to get rid of your stuff, though, you could:

 

- sell it in your shop,

- put lots of ten items in trades and advertise it as being cheap for Packrat. I do this with all of my freebies that I get. I offer them for free, but I've gotten bids ranging anywhere from a Pile of Dung to 1000 np for ten junk items,

-transfer it all to a side account, so that you can get the avatar on other accounts, or

- donate it all to the Money Tree

Mmmm I'm worried about this problem too... I don't tend to sell stuff unless I have two of it, so I end up collecting huuuuge collections of stuff, which if I sold would make life so much easier for some avys etc. But I haven't got the packrat avy yet, so hopefully when I get it I'll be wanting lots of pure.

This is something which I don't have an issue with - I do however have an issue with whacking every item into my shop automatically...I actualy have to think to put things into my SDB for the packrat avatar!
