Ruto Posted November 8, 2008 Author Posted November 8, 2008 Thread updated. Anime doesn't know how they breed yet, though in the description, it says that vampire dragons reproduce by injecting their venom into other eggs, so who knows. There's some rumor going on that says that some maturing vampire hatchlings kill other eggs and hatchlings, but seeing as how none of you have had that problem, I'd say it's false. :P Quote
Anime Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Females have the breed option, but males don't show up on the list. I've heard that females always refuse to breed, so it's like Summer dragons. Quote
Micamone Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 ICU rocks, they got my white egg to live! :) *pets white hatchling* Quote
Ardeo Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Amazingly successful breedings this week! Look: ^That's an Alt vine, right? Quote
Ruto Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 :O WOAH. I don't get that lucky in a month. That's awesome, Ardeo! ^_^ And that is an alt vine. Congrats! Quote
*SG* Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Alas my efforts at obtaining the vampire dragon massively failed, now I am in the race to snatch another so perhaps one day mine will be able to breed >.< I know Birids guide but is there a guide that goes into detail about breeding? Quote
Anime Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 My guide (second post of this thread) has a fair bit of detail. And you can ask any questions you need to. Quote

*SG* Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 My guide (second post of this thread) has a fair bit of detail. And you can ask any questions you need to. I guess the question was geared more to what breeds can breed with which. I have to males and two females but I only got the option with one pair. (Tried and apparently they don't like each other so i don't get the option anymore) Quote
Anime Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Like it says in the guide, you can breed any two kinds of dragon together, but some won't ever produce eggs. Sometimes they'll refuse or not produce an egg though. Let's see... GoldxGold, SilverxGold, and SilverxSilver pairs will never produce, as will couples with Summers or Vamps. Quote
*SG* Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 So my Guardian wont breed with my Skywing just 'cause they don't want to? K. Just curious lol Thanks! Quote
Anime Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Yeah. They just don't want to, apperently. Heck, they might jsut not want to this week. xD Quote
*SG* Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Oh that's bizarre that they could have mood swings like that! Kinda kewl 'cause it makes them seem more realistic. Hopefully soon my lil Magi will grow up! Quote
Anime Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Yeah. xD Makes it intresting. I have couples that simply refuse to produce, couples that rarely don't, and some that do or don't at random. Makes it intresting, seeing how many they produce and of what species. Quote
Ardeo Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Woah, is this a neglected egg...? http://dragcave.net/viewdragon/nTOA ^There. o.o Quote
Ruto Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 OHMYGOD. ARDEO. HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU FIND THAT?!?!?! Quote

Ruto Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 RAWRGH. It's back to a regular black now. <_< Quote
Strategos Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 That looks like a regular black egg to me. Are you sure? EDIT: I've seen the thread, I understand, but it's been changed. Did anyone grab the pic? Quote
Ardeo Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Wow. Okay - that was weird. Strategos, I have the pic, but there's also the scroll background thing with it. Do you want me to upload it? Quote
Strategos Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 No, I already have that from the screenshot. I was just wondering if anyone had the pure version of it. Quote
Ardeo Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I just edited it on gimp. The background's gone. Do you want me to upload that version? Edit: *Uploads it anyway* Quote
Ruto Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 No matter what you do, I'm uploading the egg pic for future use. Ardeo, you're my hero. ;D Quote
*SG* Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I just edited it on gimp. The background's gone. Do you want me to upload that version? Edit: *Uploads it anyway* Woah what in the world O.o so it changed but is there an egg like that perhaps that doesn't???? Quote
Ardeo Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I didn't even know there was an egg. =o Here's the description, by the way: This egg is very sickly looking, like it has a disease. And I have to get off for the night. Goodbye! ^_^ Quote
