On the Daily Dragon your dragons stop being shown on the site if you don't click at least 20 other dragons per day, but that's only polite and 20 isn't very many. Other than that no real rules to follow and easy to remember! I'm always nervous I'm going to do something wrong when I post on forums. :* Clicked through all the new babies.
