livvy Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Thanks! Did you by chance click the funny looking ones in my sig? Not many people click those... :O But that's almost off-topic of me to ask, so back on topic! I clicked yours too! Quote
hero of time Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 all my dragons have names in laten, i have yet to have a problem. P.S. http://dragcave.net/user/Lightswordoftime Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Hey Matt! Yea, I doubt many people name their dragons in Latin. ;) Quote
Unstream Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 That's a good idea! I'd do that, except I don't know Latin... I'll stick with variations of Ancient Gods/Goddesses. And variations of prominent Bible cities. And variations of names of Final Fantasy characters. Basically, a lot of variations of stuff people already came up with :P Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 And if all else fails, put Regnarg at the end! Because it's a hilarious last name! :D Or maybe it's only funny because I'm sick. I don't know. But I find it amusing. Quote
Unstream Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Lol I liked it. Sera Regnarg. Ares Granger. They're exact opposites. No wonder why they'll never breed :P (ignore the fact that metals can't breed in the first place) Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Sera is actually a really good name. I'll probably use Sera Granger if I ever get a female Silver. Quote
Ruto Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 Hmm, all these dragons with similar last names...dunno if I should try it. xD Quote
ΩCCΩ Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Then you can have a whole family, it sounds sooo...cute o_O. Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Well, I mean, I just did it so I could use names that would otherwise have already been taken... Quote
ΩCCΩ Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I think that was a very smart idea, just come and look at my dragons names, you will sure crack up. Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Thank you! :D Can you give us the link to your scroll so we can look at them? Quote
ΩCCΩ Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I put the link already in the clicky thing in my siggy. Dont be pwned by the names though. Quote
hero of time Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 i translate english into latin on: http://sunsite.ubc.ca/LatinDictionary/ it works both ways. i normaly use two latin words to form a great discription like Sano Lumen wich means healing light, and its a white dragon. , plese Anime. and my red and magi grew up. Quote
ΩCCΩ Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 So you are hero_of_time?. I knew that that name hit a string. Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 That's actually really clever, Matt. Oh, could you give me an update on my dragons? Thanks! :D Quote
ΩCCΩ Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 So, did you read my dragon's names, some of them are just insanity that I picked up here. :graduated: Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Well, seeing as I can't see my own dragons, I couldn't read the names. But I'll look at them when I get better internet. Quote
hero of time Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 your frill is haching, your skywing and frill have yet to grow up. your black has yet to matur, and your white and winter have no cracks. but there is no word for flower. Quote

Macabre Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 So, how many dragons count as an army? Twenty? =/ Quote
hero of time Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 what do you think are some femanin thing? it hard for my to think of female dragon names. Quote
Macabre Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Names that are more feminine tend to end with vowels like e or i. Like Celaiste/Aressa/Selenai. At least, that's what I do. :* Quote
livvy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Yes, vowels do tend to be more feminine. @Katy: An army is 15 or more. :) Quote
Macabre Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 K, thanks for the help. ^_^ I need to get a work on my whites. Quote
