How dare you try to take my name!! pick something else!!" That would be more of an explanation. I have 5 more eggs. Woohoo. Now I can't do anything for another 2-3 days...and then they'll be hatchlings...and I'll wait for them to gender...so I can name them... Anime Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 To trade, the other person has the get page up, then you abandon the egg, either at a set time or you tell them on an IM, and they refresh the page like crazy and hope they snag it. Most people start refreshing a little before to be safe. Then, you do the same in reverse. It's a good idea to do this during slower times, like late at night. Because the adopt page follows specific patterns, you can get the egg for sure by simply refreshing on that page at the drop time. I can't believe I got it, I have the weakest broadband internet ever, and 808 people were at the abandoned eggs page o_O And getting my first dragon was a hassle -.- I had attempted to get an egg 7 times before I got my first one. On the fansite, emergency is considered 3 days or less. The dc forums (or at least, the ICU) generally consider 2 days or less emergency.
