Status training question..

So, recently I've been training my Neopet at the Mystery Island training school..

 

These are my stats:

Lvl : 24

Str : 39

Def : 38

Mov : 22

Hp : 65 / 65

 

For some strange reason I am able to keep training my Endurance, but I can't train my other stats, because "no stat can be twice the pet's level". But endurance is more than twice its level... Why can't I train on strength/defence? Because 24 x 2 = 48 and str is only 39? So I don't get it..

Endurance can be trained up to 3x your pet's level, but I think if you want to train it more you must bring up your pet's level to half of the endurance

yes it does suck :( my pet's hot points are at 119, his level is 25 and defense is shamefully dismal. i have to take the level all the way up to 50-something before i can do something abt it!

If you keep going to places like Cotzrans shrine then you can get past the rules...as it will occasionally up defense, endurence, attack and level...although it all seems random.
