Any hints on this puzzle? I hate to ask but it's drivin me nuts. I keep confusing what letters I've tried changing.

possibly dumb question: which way do the hints go? I mean the A=B type stuff, does that mean A in the puzzle is actually B or the other way around?

If it made a sentence that pretty much makes sense then you probably did do it right, thats what most other people are getting anyway.

Hey, how do you solve the first riddle of the petpet shop?

The odd thing is that the fifth word in the puzzle doesn't come out right when I "translate" it...is anybody else having that problem? I can tell what it's supposed to be, but just decoding it doesn't seem to give a word..?

No, I think there might be a typo...which leads to a non-existant word...which leads to my anger and frustration :)

One more thing. Is there actually a limit to the amswers for the riddles? Because the one in Part 2 had no limit.

For the first riddle in this part, it claims you only get three guesses. I can't verify if you do or don't as I got the answer on the first try.

I'm pretty sure there is no limit for the code puzzle. I've tried nearly 50 variations and no limit has stopped me yet.

 

EDIT: Yes there is a 3 try limit for the first riddle.

No, the cryptogram doesn't seem to have any limit, based on the number of guesses I've made already :P
