adelineloh Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 hey y'all! haven't posted for long. Anyway, I am STILL stuck at the petpet shop! I mean, from all the hints, I think I know what I'm supposed to do, but for how long do you have to keep it doing it? I mean, should somehting like "appear" instantly, or will it take you hours and hours and hours? Arrgh. I have ZERO patience. HELP! EDIT: Never mind. I found out. adelineloh, you really renewed my hope just when i was baout to give up. now, for the riddle... =) No prob. Keep going. the second part is the fun but challenging part. wait. for the c = e stuff, does it mean that e = c also? and does the entire phrase relate to neopets? It's decoding, not replacing. Try looking out for a pattern to the alphabets. It is of course related to neopets. This is a TDN plot. ;) Keep going.
gothiclolitaaya Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Hey guys, to join the 'brain-crashing' group... I'm stuck on this evil second puzzle the cryptogram thing... after I got through all the other parts of the Plot now I'm stuck here and can't figure it out! I don't even understand the cryptogram explainings I've found in the Internet... is anyone else still having problems with part 2 of the third plot part?
ronnie... Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 oh, me too! *high5* haha. it's the hardest when you just start... and I haven't got much further.
Afridelle Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Yeah I'm stuck on the cryptogram too.... and I can't find a recognizable pattern for decoding based on those two hints.... uggggggggg
pippignomie Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 if S=V does that mean that V=S? And the same for C=E?
gothiclolitaaya Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Confusion everywhere XD! I think I quit the Plot here's the dead point for me, I've tried and tried but can't understand it nor figure it out :(
ronnie... Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 come on... you'll be able to figure it out. the two clues... i'm not exactly sure, but i think it's only one way, the way they say it, and not the other way around. like s = v, but v does not = s. but i'm not sure.
momoflauralei Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 ok....so i am doing what i am supposed to when RS-ing and have been for more than an hour....nothing in the doggone petpet shoppe.....any advise?
momoflauralei Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 woot!!! i finally got it!!! Now hopefully i can figure out the next part!
Makube_X Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Looks like noone's been able to make it past the second part yet. That gives me more convidence in the answer I came up with :D
remo Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 So is there any update to the cryptogram? I have a message that makes complete sense, but it keeps saying it's wrong. I changed it so words were spelled wrong, and that didn't work either. It's driving me nuts.
Glorious Gilbil Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I havent given the second part much thought, has anyone figured out the cryptogram yet?? This board sure is popular :D 12 pages in less than a day !!
in_the_eyes Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 :grrr: i'm stuck on this forsaken cryptogram and just can't figure it out!!
Samuel Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 Guys, dont hate me :D It..messed up a little. Ya see. The clue was wrong. xD C=E. It should be much easier now.
pippignomie Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 i'm confused though... it now say S=U instead of S=V... but there are no S's :S
Samuel Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 Nope, but it sets out the precedent for the pattern.
Glorious Gilbil Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I figure there was something off with that part
Awesome_Paul Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 yeah lets try the sentence again... nope, does it matter about capital letters, would that make it wrrong or does it work in all non capitals
Afridelle Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Oh god thank you samuel. NOW I can do the cryptogram
Glorious Gilbil Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I don't know about the rest of you, but its still not making any sense when i decrpyt it
Awesome_Paul Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 yeah i have the same punctutaion as the clue (the , and !'s ) and teh Capital letter but still incorrect
momoflauralei Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 yeah....one of the words in particular isn't decoding correctly for me and that can ce tough! Or did I mean that it can be tough? either way...i can get it right! Is anyone else having that problem?
