I've tried to just randomly visit it during the day, but I've only ever caught a refresh once or twice, and the expensive items always go quickly. -Kai- Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 well it costed me a couple of attempts... first of all you must stay in the shop a while, and refresh ever 2 or 3 seconds.... then watch for the item you want (not always the expensive ones will give the avie) so I prefer you to usea a guide. then you will know how the shop works and in no time you'll have your avie :D good luck Quote

I'll try some other time when I have plenty of time in my hands to just sit there and refresh... and try to grab a r99 chocolate... XD Quote

Its possible, Just takes a bit of time, I restock there now just because I've made quite a bit of money off chocolates I buy even if they don't give me the avatar Quote

So you could have them highlight in your browser (using its search) by entering 000 and then you refresh... If you aren't a restocker, it could take up to a month to get... that's how long it was for me. (Grant forced me to restock at chocolate until I got the avvie XDD) Quote

Xepha Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 It takes the perfect timing... I got the avatar in the morning... like 6am NST. Everyone was back to school too, so it helped. Grab 2.5k items along the way to make a profit ;) And a few others items. Everytime you fail to get a choco avatar items, look at what restocked and how much profit you could make from it. Memorise it and buy it next time. ;D Quote
Firerose88 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I always choke right before I have to enter a price. I was *this close* to getting it and I got so flustered I lost it. I haven't tried it since then. I would say try staying up at odd hours of the morning, and also make sure you have your fingers on the numbers keys as fast as you can and only put in zeros instead of going like 5433 go 5400 because you don't spend as much time typing out the other numbers. Good luck! I can't wait until I get it but I definitely have to wait until my internet connection is better because I have so much lag when I refresh. Quote
