Kyra Trebon
At the request of my friends I have finally decided to create a website to advertise my writings and just to get reviews. I was browsing google (I know, not the best idea, but my resources are limited) but I didn't find any good free webhosting sites. Does anyone here use or know of a site that they would recommend? Basically my criteria is limited to; I want to be able to choose what the page looks like, I want to be able to publish links, and finally, I want to be able to design what goes where on a page. I am more of a script kiddie than anything, but I do have a couple friends that are more advanced, so anything is welcome. Thanks!

linda
I use ooowebhost.com too and webs.com I don't really like bravenet and webs though (too many ads) ==' Just google "free website css" or visit templatemo.com
Lion
000webhost.com is pretty good - I know people who use it and haven't had a problem. I'm yet to use them myself, but they're pretty good - and no ads, unlike Webs and most of the other popular hosts. Awardspace and Freehostia are also worth looking at... but I've never tried them myself.
antiaircraft
I've also used 000webhost.com in the past, and I haven't had any real trouble with them. They provide pretty reliable PHP and MySQL support as well, which is a considerable bonus. I have heard of some people having administrative issues with them (accounts deleted for no reason basically), but they generally seem quite sensible. Xepha
You should check a few of the host listed here : http://www.free-webhosts.com/webhosting-01.php That's always where I look when I need to choose a free hosting place... they have helpful reviews from people who have tried it, etc.
Featheon
Currently I'm using Webs.com, you can chose to create your own pages with your own HTML and CSS if you want. They do insist on having a banner on all of your pages though... This post has been edited by a member of staff (Crusher) because of a violation of the forum rules. Ba-da-bump.
