Apollo Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Hey guys, I was just trying to get the "Chocolate!" avatar from the Chocolate Factory when I noticed nothing was refreshing... I've heard about a "Refresh Ban" but I'm not entirely sure what this means. Could anyone tell me how long I've been banned for? And how do I know I'm refreshing too often? - Apollo ^_^
hrtbrk Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I recall a user named Cal posting a video tutorial on how to restock, including the do's and don'ts of refreshing (really restocking, but same thing nonetheless). To check if you've been banned from "refreshing" or restocking, check the Tiki Tack on Mystery Island as there will always be items in the shop (unless you are banned). Mostly, refresh every 25-30 seconds. I believe anything less will get you banned rather quickly. I also recall the bans being from a half of an hour or more. Anyone know for sure?
melissachaplain Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 sometimes you can be banned for up to 48 hours. Ive had that happen before but if you do what heartbr3ak says and only refresh in the shop every 25-30 secs you'll find that you'll hardly ever get restock banned.

yishie Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I have been banned for up to 2 days before x) although usually, my bans last only a day o, and if you were banned, you were refreshing too often. Check the tiki tack shop to see if you're really banned. But you might not have been, since Chocolate has tendencies to restock ALOT and then suddenly, not stock for up to half an hour

Xepha Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I refresh every 5 seconds and I don't get banned :P every 5-10 seconds is fine, opposed to 25-30 seconds.
