Deepti M.
I just wanted to know where you guys restocked. I myself restock at the Igloo Garage Sale, because I don't have that pesky exception that you have to be four months old to see everything. The Igloo Garage Sale is really good if you're looking for SDB, it's brought me up about 50 items yesterday. :)
naalaro
Been meaning to restock there for some time but havent got to it. I major in furniture and bread. 1tomread1
I'm an amataur restocker from time to time, whenever i need neopoints really. I do think it's the best way to make neopoints, i usually hit the stamp shop. Never restocked an unbuyable though :(
Deepti M.
I thought the Stamp Shop only stocked useless items? Seems like a lot of people stock there thoough
Masaryk
Most of the stamps that you don't get as KQ prizes have really high resale, like 500% or more. Not that I should be sharing this, since I'm trying to collect stamps for the avatars, and I'm just creating competition for myself. Good luck with your restocking, though. I know that I'm not very good at it. Anytime that I do get something good, I just want to keep it. Once I got that SDB Pack Rat avvie, I just kept going and never looked back. ;)
naalaro
I thought the Stamp Shop only stocked useless items? Seems like a lot of people stock there thoough Nah, thanks to key quest some of the stamps decreased so much it was horrible-which i was a victim off losing over 300 thousand in my stamp stocks, hence my still, unbridled hate for keyquests. However of course, the most profitable items in neopia come from stamps, with raress tamps mostly being unbuyables, and a good handful in the millions to ten/twenty over millions range. (i have not restocked one of those...although i have seen them pop up before to my surprise and shock) Then of course, competition is fierce! Ashbash
I don't restock my shop too often but when I do I tend to buy stuff from the food shop.
jagarundi
I restock every 3-4 days on candy and chocolates from the chocolate shop. Very profitable indeed. However, igloo garage sale is awesome. I just got a mint kau chocolate for 300np and sold it for 4000np. I do wonder why people buy so many candies anyway but still he works for me. Hope to see people here that restock candy I sometimes feel like I am the only one doing it when I check the neoboards.
Sapphy the Swamp Witch
I usually restock from books - it's a kind of fast shop, but if you know what to look for it can be very profitable and a pretty good shop for a beginner. I sometimes do Pizza and Chocolate as well.
Lia Seeya
The only place I really tried restocking at is the bookstore. However, I can't stand waiting so long for good items to come about. :laughingsmiley: Just not the RSing type.
m00fin_hearts_chocolate
I'm not really much of a restocker, actually I've closed my store until further notice.I'll open it up after I get the packrat avvie.:Dalthough I used to buy two of everything and just sell it for a little higher.:D
Deepti M.
Well, I'm basically making a profit because I don't really train my pet, so I just sell my codestones and dubloons in my shop, which I get for free from Dailies. :) The Igloo Garage sale is really good, once I saw an Eo Codestone there for 378 NP. Ashbash
I decided to check out the igloo garage sale today and it seems to have some pretty good stuff. I might have to start going there more often, thanks for the tip!
Deepti M.
No problem. Plus it restocks like every 5-8 minutes, so it's not just a bunch of constant refreshing.
Ashbash
Can you only buy one item though? I'm a little confused as to the time limit before buying another.
Mantis
I only restocked a few times now, the only thing I got that was worth profit was a Menacing Brew... still havent sold it though. Does anyone want it for some points
Ashbash
How much are you selling it for?
Deepti M.
Yes, you can only buy one item EACH restock. It restocks every 5-8 minutes though, so that's about 12 different items in an hour, give or take a few.
Ashbash
Ahh okay that makes sense and seems fair, thank you.
Masaryk
Actually, I think you can buy items every 90 seconds, but there usually isn't anything left worth buying even 30 seconds after the stock refreshes. It's the same with Tarla's Shop of Mystery. I used to alternate between the two, which got me LOTS of Terror Mountain Random Events (usually Icy or Super Icy Neggs, but also Christmas PBs!). Deepti M.
I don't like Tarla's shop of Mystery. -shakes head- She always gives me a You Did it Better card. :(
~Mike~
I usually work on 2-4 shops at a time, i will not specify which because there are already too many people there, I will say though with kauvaras shop my computer(being 5 years old since may 5th) is a bit too slow to get the potions in time(except for that time i bought a uni morphing potion :P). But anyways what I do is focus on the 2 expensive shops mainly and every few seconds i go back to the 2 cheaper less active ones. After one shop loads up items i buy why i can, then i focus on the other 3 mainly and if 2 go at once, after there is nothing profitable left, I focus on the other 2 for the next 2-4 minutes. I find this keeps me more busy, i wouldn't suggest it to everyone because you do miss out on some great deals because watching more then 2 windows usually suffers in speed. But i can make a good 10k+ per store restock usually so in a lucky hour or 2 it is really easy to make almost 100k. The biggest thing for me, which might be important for others, (check if you can get in trouble for this first). But for people with slow computers such as me, use ad-block plus to block all the adds and especially the flash adds. This speeds up my window so much its rediculous. Anyways good luck restocking and believe me the more you do it you will get better, it feels pretty cool getting 3-4 items per restock in some of the medium level shops :)

Sometimes, there may just be too many people restocking in a particular shop that even if you do get a restock, you'll most probabaly only grab a single item, if such cases, i would change my focus to a different shop. Vice versa, shops which restocks good items yet still remain relatively slow means less people, or amaterus. I take advantage of those shops preferably. Oh and of course, Altador Cup season is a nice period to restock in :)
