Ads with games

I went to play Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway and there was a huggies commercial before the game loaded. Is neopets seriously adding commercials to their games???

o.o This was added like a long time ago? I've been having commercials before games for a long time (not often though). I just refresh the page and it just goes start to loading the game.

I was fine with it...till they added the ads to the Altador Cup games x_x

I've had them on a few games for months now. It is really annoying. Isn't this what Advar Video was for?

Yeah I've been getting commercials before games for a long time now. It doesn't happen all the time, it seems to be random. Usually when I get a commercial I just hit reload and it immediately loads the game without a commercial.

Yeah, the ads are there. It's a little annoying, but what can we do? It's a 'free' game site. Like what everyone is saying, just refresh it helps.

i have it happen from time to time too, its really annoying on a slow connection because you end up haveing to refresh three times before it will load properly.

For a long time, the commercials weren't loading, but now they usually do. It really made me mad that Neopets started adding commercials before the the games. One of the main reasons I stopped going to addictinggames.com and started playing Neopets was the commercials. Refreshing the page allows you to skip them, though, so I guess it's not so bad.

most of the games i play i have to watch the commercials first, its defnitly annoying but i guess if we want free neopets, we must live wiht the ads

Like everybody's saying, just refreshing will solve the problem. I get them too, but not that often. It's only 2 minutes of your time besides...

It's annoying if i have my speakers playing music loudly and the ad starts

Someday I'm going to mess around with some Flash code and get these annoying embedded ads banished. :P

 

But for now, I guess refreshing will have to do...
