bolackey Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 While I appreciate TDN's guid for Shootout Showdown, there is an even easier approach to the game. The goalkeeper will start out to the left of center, then move two spaces right, then two to the left. Wait for him to move the two spaces to the right and just tap the space bar. You don't even need to move the ball. If timed correctly, you should be able to score 5 goals in about 6-7 seconds with no misses, and a perfect score of 1200 points. My current perfect 1200 streak is at 50 games so far. :P

But after you find your groove it should be smooth sailing... or scoring. Also if TDN wants to use this for the site go right ahead, I like to spread the wealth. 0:)

Score one goal, submit score, and your number goes up! They never said you had to get a good score, just that you had to play. Wish I'd discovered that before I'd played 587 times. :nerd:

Xepha Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Yea, that works too :P What I do now, mostly, is that I tab 1 times to move the ball, then I press space and left arrow at the same time so it goes in the corner. That works too and I get 1200 everytime. There are many approachs to the game. Just find something that works for you :P

There still might be a minimum score, but clearly scoring once right at the beginning is over that minimum. How many points do you get?
