Fardreamer
So this is the first year I've not been at a camp or vacation etc. during the cup, and so I'm trying to figure out how all of this works. I've poked around several guides and FAQs, but I'm less interested in learning how to play the games (they're pretty self-explanatory, and I'm fairly good at YYB) and more interested in what I need to do to get some trophies, points, and prizes! How many wins do we need to rank up? Does it change per each rank? How do wins translate into spendable points? Do we have to play every single day to get the top trophy, or just win alot, or just be on the winning team? How am I supposed to by NC challenge tickets? They don't exist! It says the NC challenge starts today! I'll probably think of a few more questions, but I'll start with those for now.
Xepha
How many wins do we need to rank up? Does it change per each rank? Depends which of the games you play. It's 50 YYBs game for each rank 1, 2, 3, 4, then it goes up by 25 for the next 4, and so on until you reach all star How do wins translate into spendable points? Never really took time to analyse it... Someone may know better. Do we have to play every single day to get the top trophy, or just win alot, or just be on the winning team? The 1st place trophy will go to the winning team. There are also second and third place trophies, as well as runner up for all other teams. Your personal stats show when you click on it, so it's quite nice. How am I supposed to by NC challenge tickets? They don't exist! It says the NC challenge starts today! They are out now. Quite expensive if you want my opinion on the matter. (However there is a glitch that prevent you from activating it.)
Fardreamer
Oh, my other big question; Is this what I'm supposed to see on the scorepage? Is it recording my wins? The first time I had the normal yellow letters, but everytime after its just been this. Is that normal? Thanks Xepha! ^^ That helps alot. :) This post has been edited by a member of staff (Native) because of a violation of the forum rules. Keep your posts above 6 words. Smilies do not count. Xepha
Yes it's normal. :) No worries there. It only says that you are sending 4 goals, which would give you 450 nps but you have already received your NP for the day so it won't be credit to you. Nothing to worry about. That plus our personal rank shield goes on our profile? Or just the winning team trophy? And on the send score: We can only send one YYB score per day? o_O
kss15
I also have a question regarding points - if anyone reads this and can answer my question: For SS, MSN and SSD, are the high scores averaged for the team? Or does the number of times played contribute, aside from your own personal points? and for YYB, it's scored according to a tally of total goals, correct? Batman
That plus our personal rank shield goes on our profile? Or just the winning team trophy? The shield and the trophy are two separate things so yes both show up in the profile. However you need to be on a winning team to get a trophy. EDIT: I didn't mean to say it like the only way to get the trophy was on the winning team. You just need to be on one of the top three teams. And on the send score:We can only send one YYB score per day? o_O Are you talking about for np or in general? I am guessing for np you should be able to send three but the whole sending in things to improve your ranking have been glitchy today. I am guessing it is just glitchy. I played multiple games but i didn't realize i was getting np until i had already done like 20 games so i dont remember.
GnarlyBagel
And on the send score:We can only send one YYB score per day? o_O You can send as many scores as you want. However, only the first 3 are supposed to give you NPs

They are actually things that would be very nice to know. But i don't see how averaging the high scores for the teams for SS, MSN, and SSD would be very accurate. Especially with SSD since pretty much the high score is 1200. If you got that your first go then would the rest of the day not matter? I don't know for sure but it would seem weird if it was. I don't want to play MSN a bunch of times if the number of times played only count toward my ranking and not the team score. If it's an average of all the players score on that game for the day, I might as well only play until I get my high score.
Batman
I don't know if that is the way it is scored then the only beneficial place to really spend time playing would be YYB. That is the only thing that really shows stats for.
Fardreamer
Holy cow ranks are going to take forever. 2,000 wins? Do YYB wins count for more than the rest of the games? I get too bored with the other ones to play them apart from the NC challenge.
antiaircraft
Yooyuball counts the most, being the main game and all, but the side games can make or break a match as well.
Fardreamer
So does winning by large margins help your team out more, or just wins? And- will it always be this easy? Do they make the game harder if you rank up? Right now I'm winning 4-5 to 0 with no problem, is it going to get harder, or is it just different team combinations that make up the difficulty? Halfway to my first rank. o_O Anyone have any idea what you get spendable points for? Goals? All goals? Your goals - their goals total? antiaircraft
Well, it's your goals and your scores that count towards your prize points for the prize shop in the end. Yooyuball opponents won't get any harder - the AI running them is just plain dumb (although there will be formation differences, which might throw people off a bit). xD AFAIK, TNT hasn't said whether you help your team more with pure plays or good scores. Batman
Is it points and scores from all the different games or just YYB that go towards the prize points at the end?
antiaircraft
All the games. :) Otherwise it wouldn't be fair for those who were bad at Yooyuball. :P

Batman
Yeah... I went a little nuts yesterday. I never really did well any of the other years so i decided this year was going to be the year i made up for it. Hence the 10ish more wins until the level 3 and this is all in one days work (still up from yesterday not really tired yet).
Fardreamer
Holy cow I thought people were joking when the put scores that high on their counters on the first day. o_O I've got some catching up to do.

So can you combine different games to get ranks? 600 SSD + 50 YYB = rank 4? Or no? 124 YYB, 30 MSN, 100 SS, and 300 SSD???!? Hol-y cow o_O I thought I was wasting my day with almost 50 YYB XD whee. I'm definitely stopping at 2000 (assuming I ever get there) And they already know Krawk Island is going to win. Notice today's NC prize? Hmm? *pokes Isoldar* This post has been edited by a member of staff (Maruto) because of a violation of the forum rules. Please do not double post; use the edit button instead. Batman
So can you combine different games to get ranks? 600 SSD + 50 YYB = rank 4? Or no? That would be rank 2 because 600 SSD gives a rank and 50 YYB gives a rank. But yes you can combine scores of all the games to go up ranks. You don't literally need to get 50 YYB wins to go up a rank it is a combination of all the games.
