Tiffany
I just saw this in the trading post and laughed xD There was also a Draik Transmogrification Potion in the auction and the initial bidding started at 1 million NP. Poor dude forgot to add a 0, so the auction ended with the winner having to pay 4.8 million. Lucky thing.

Viridian
I did that when I wanted to sell something for 500k... I only put in like 500 pure instead of 500k pure. But realized that quickly and rejected all offers. Luckily I'm not much a fan of auctions since that would be a pain!
hrtbrk
I guess they're going to have a lot of 'rotting junk' then :D Once I saw a Faerie PB in the auctions for 90K. I was like 15 neopoints away from getting it too. /still bitter
lazycrazykitten
I both love and loath auctions. I always seem to be like, 1 second off of getting my item, someone always outbids me in that last second. And unfortunately if you make a mistake when putting something up in auctions your loss is someone elses gain. Just think about the fact that you've made someone elses day, even if it ruins yours! Sapphy the Swamp Witch
:laughingsmiley: Hehe, wonder if they'll eventually realise their mistake. I don't really like auctions, I'm never fast enough -_-.
SarafinaWolf7
It's still there. Should I offer on it? I made an offer of 3.5k. Let's see if s/he accepts it. How can they say no items when you have to trade items?
Jikuu
I think they just mean no ETS or HTS items. I personally stay away from the Trading Post because half of them are rude when they write up their wishlist. Like the example up on the top. "Junk will rot... No noob trades". Geez. In real life, that's called horrible customer service and most people would avoid such a fellow. Not worth funding such awful personality traits. I rather the above trader realize his mistake rather than give it away for such a low price, otherwise he'll realize it and get super upset and take it out on everyone around him. I can't believe that they would accept that Neofriend request. Everytime I get a friend request from a person I don't know, I always reject. SarafinaWolf7
S/he hasn't accepted my offer. Should I cancel it, or keep it and see what happens? Never mind. The lot is canceled. S/he probably realized the mistake.
naalaro
Hurnm, auctions, i never use it with a mindset of making a quick profit. The auction system definitely requires powerful internet connections especially if your trying to outbid on a high profit item. I usually use the auctions to see if i can get my hands on any HTS (hard to sell) items...usually, people put these items over half or less their normal price on the auctions since they are hard to sell. I jump in and gobble up all of em. I treat it as an investment, putting them on the TP for months on end,but they always get bought up in the end, and i get profits, usually in the 2-3 hundred k range.
