I have seen in places that you need a *faerie ability* with a certain level to beat a battledome challenger ... e.g. Fiery Gaze Level 3. Masaryk Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 I thought that Bottled Faeries only gave you *new* Faerie Abilities. I don't think you can level up existing abilities with them. Maybe I'm wrong, though. Landing on the faerie on the Wheel of Mediocrity or Wheel of Monotony will level up a random Faerie Ability that you have. BlackJaguar Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Ok, let's clear this up... Bottled faeries will give you a NEW ability at a certain PET LEVELS. To increase the level of your EXISTING abilities, you must land on the faerie spots on the wheels (Wheel of mediocrity, Wheel of monotomy, etc). Though there is no difference in the effectiveness of the ability whether its level is high or low.
