Hello i am in desperate need of a paint brush. i really dont care what type but i really want one! if you cannot give me one is there a easy way in which to get one ? pleas help ! :sad01_anim:

Erm... Well, you could save up for the cheapest Paint Brush out there which is the Christmas one. (Around 20k, I think.) But it looks like you'll be getting one for free instead.

Play some KQ. ;D It's a good way to earn NP and, if you get lucky with a Gold Key, you might win a PB. ^^

In truth, if you want a paint brush, you earn your neopoints and buy one from other people's shops or via the trading post or auctions.

 

Sometimes you can find them from Random events (which are of course, random).

 

Or, Tivsy has suggested Key Quest.

I've gotten 4 paint brushes from it > Biscuit, Cloud and two Striped.

 

You can also get Snow, Ghost, Tyrannian, Starry, etc.

 

Plus, it will fill more rewarded when you notice that you got that paint brush out of your vault. Simply having one sent to you is no fun, and doesn't make you feel rewarded at all.

 

- You can also win treasure map pieces and rare codestones, you can sell them and some of them will generate you enough neopoints to get several paint brushes!

 

(for example, one of the pieces of the treasure map is worth between 180-190k NP, with that, you can buy a combination of 4 paint brushes (only cheap ones, like speckled, glowing and christmas - but still paint brushes.)

But yeah, KQ is one of the best ways to find prizes these days. Unfortunately, this has lowered the price and rarity of many Paint Brushes, meaning that you will not get so much of a profit when selling them. :( However, it makes these PB's free, which means that all of the NP's you sell it for are your profit... if you're not an RSer then you might not get what I'm talking about xD

 

Random Events also give them for free, but I have been playing Neopets for 3 1/2 years and have never gotten one... xD

You're not likely to get one if you ask ;). But there are many cheap ones out there, many paint brushes have become buyable because of Key Quest. This month has May Mayhem too; if you play games you'll be with your own paint brush in no time! :laughingsmiley:

Another way to get paintbrushes is to compete in the WC's. You will have to complete a map though. And you can only get three pieces a day for a single map, so if you got a different piece every time (which you wont) you could get it a week.

Ahh... the paint brush obsession...

 

As you play Neopets more, you will realise that there are a lot other things you can work on. Try to set small goals for yourself to achieve... and it will make the game more enjoyable ;).
