Wrong Neopet Login

Okay, so you know when you login in it directs you to the page that asks for your password it shows you a picture of your active pet? Well it has the right name of my active pet however it is NOT my pet on the screen. I defintiely do not own a Lutari or that backround. I was on earlier today and my pets looked like gears and I had still been logged in from the day before as I was on my house computer.

 

I used the search engine to check if my pet was still in fact my pet and he was, but everytime I go to login in I'm shown a different picture of an active pet .

 

The screen says: Not Your Neopet?

If you are ever presented with a Neopet that isn't yours, or if the URL in the address bar is not www.neopets.com, you are not logging into Neopets! Be sure to note the URL and report it to us right away!

 

However, I have no idea where to report it, especially since I am not logged in I can't report it in the place I thought I needed. So can someone give me a link?

 

The URL at the top of the screen is: http://www.neopets.com/hi.phtml so I'm pretty sure it's not a scam page.

 

Help me please? I want to play with my pets.

Can't you just log in? Have you tried entering your password? I mean, maybe it's just a screwup and your pets are still thesame.

Well, the whole point of it showing your active neopet is to prove it is your account....I just don't want to type in my password only for it to be redirected to someone elses account or something, the whole thing is just so weird.

Thanks! I reported it, I really do hope it was just an error, but I don't want to log in until the matter is solved. Hopefully it will be quick and everything will be back to normal soon.

It even says it is a Bruce! How odd.

Hey, I just typed in your username to see what would happen, and I got you Grundo as your active pet. Maybe you want to try again?

This actually started Saturday night. Pet's images are turing, at random it seems, into female Orange Grundos with a Cloud BG and Stained Glass wings. it's odd. I haven't heard of any Lutaris showing up, but since different people can't see the Grundos, it's likely connected. Just wait untill TNT fixes whatever the problem is.

And I had the same reaction going on a side the toher day. I had a "What the Fyora, where's my Tonu?!" moment. xD (Turns out SIX of my pets got hit by it. x.o)

I actaully switched my active neopet this morning to my Grundo, I was hoping it might make my Bruce look like a gear like my other pets. I guess I'll just wait it out and hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thanks for everything you guys!!!

Okay, so it is now officially back to a Bruce, it was just so weird to see a Lutari in his place, he had a different backround too. I'm just glad my Bruce is back.
