Fave gaming console(s)?

I love video games like mad crazy and I don't really have a favorite system per say but I know lots of people who are hardcore fans of certain consoles.

 

I really enjoyed a few games for the Dreamcast, to the point where I would really like to own one again. I like the concept of the PSP's but the games are too expensive and the supply is quite limited. I loved my DS, I really want a DSI like mad crazy!

 

We have two Xbox 360s but two of my absolute favorite games of ALL TIME were for the original Xbox and they are not backwards compatible, unfortunately. :( They were the Xmen Legends games, which you would think they would make BC because of the movies and such.

 

I've seen a PS3 used but I'm not really impressed.. I love the PS2 because of the massive amounts of games it has available. o_O

i kno i dont use my psp a lot but i like how its basically the ps! (which it is!) like.. you can put songs, videos, there's internet... and its pretty cool. i like the wii cuz of the active games you get to play on it :)

I just love dreamcast! but I really prefer GameCube, also Game Boy gamma were the best ever so I voted for those 2 The're my favourites.

I had to vote for the NES and the SNES. The NES was the first console my family owed. I think I was 12 when we got it. I rented Zelda, and was instantly hooked. I got my SNES a few years later, in 1992. Between the two systems, they had the highest percentage of games that I like. I still love playing old games. Some of my favourite games were SNES games: Super Metroid, Final Fantasy VI, Zelda: Link to the Past. There are many others that I like, but those are part of my "Top 10."

 

There were also a few games on the orginal Playstation that would make it into my "Top 10": Silent Hill, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tales of Destiny.

 

My love of console gaming started to decline after that. I own a PS2, a Gamecube, and a Wii, but I don't own too many games for any of them. Nobody makes my favourite kinds of games anymore - side-scrolling platform jumpers in the "Metroidvania" style. :(

I voted for Other in the hand helds and PS for the console.

 

I mean, the iPhone and the iPod Touch have enough games to be THE BEST Hand held console around... but in a close second is the DS/DSI.

 

I voted for PS for consoles because I don't play those type of consoles much and the PS2/PS3 have been the ones that I'm most impressed with..

Haven't had a handheld since Game Boys weighed 5 pounds haha but for consoles I would say Playstations (1/2/3) and the Wii. We also have an xBox as well but I usually just watch my guy play.

 

Or if he asks me to play with him I usually just run around doing nothing (lol) and he passes the level. TEAM WORK! 8)

 

Also, does PC count? There's a lot of wicked games that I play on the computer. Sup Half Life and WoW!

Well as far as PCs I was excluding them and just talking more about these types of consoles.. Computers are amazing though, nuff said. Also I don't think iPhones count because.. they're phones. lol

 

I was just really talking about game consoles that you have to go to a game store and buy a game cartridge (or whatever) to play. I really did like my PSP but the games.. *sigh*

I have an Xbox and a 360, and I voted for both of those, since I like first person shooters, and all of the good first person shooters are available for the Xbox or 360.

my dad has a psp that he lets me play which is sick! i mean you can download music and everything!

and i have a wii, which is also really cool,because i can be fit and play video games at the same time!

I'd really like a PSP, because Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is out on it. I'd buy it just to play the game, then sell it :P

 

Thinking it over, I really like the PS2 as well, because of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Hm, hard decision...

I dont need to really cranck my head for it cuz all my fingers are up for PS2. I love it and you can even buy a game here in the market for 1$.

I really like the DS because it's so fun and unique. The PS2 Has Unique games to.
