Mimii
My cat, Pewter, is so extremely pregnant right now. :D The story behind Pewter is that there was a cat being chewed up by these two German Shepherds across the street and we rescued it. It just hung around outside so I took her in and nursed her back to health and named her Pewter! Well now she is going to be a mommy and I am so excited.. I love cats so much, it's crazy! Little hairless, squeaky things will be crawling all over! EEE! :D
Ruto
Aww! ^_^ ^_^ Kittens are so much fun to raise, especially when they get to the age where they can run a little. It's so funny watching them fall down and slide all over the place. ^w^ My cat has had 4 litters, two of which she gave birth in my closet. It was hard to get the smell out afterward. xDxD The last litter was born last summer, before we left for vacation. We got back 3 weeks later, and the mother was nowhere to be found, and the kittens were crying really loud. T_T We had to bottle-feed them, but they're in good health now. :D
Queen Diva
Awe kittens!!! I've been trying to sweet talk my gf into letting me get another one ;) YAY you, am jealous!
Mimii
Aww..! Poor little abandoned kitties.. :( I just found out that our other younger female cat is also pregnant... ... ... I'm going to have like 20 kittens! o_O
hrtbrk
Awe Congrats! I'll leave my "mean" comments out since I can guarantee it they will upset majority of users but after they're born please your cats spayed! There are a bundle of health benefits from doing so (such as they won't get uterine cancer, or horrid UTI's) and plus you won't be adding more kitteh's to the already overpopulated cat world. (I don't doubt you're aware of this but others may not be, please don't take it personally) On the plus side, you'll have a bunch of chances to be on icanhascheezburger! lol :P Sounds like there's a player of a tom cat around hanging around your house! LOL How far along are they?
Queen Diva
20 kittens?!?!?!?! Dear lords! Do you guys have something like the Cat Protection Society over in the US? Here's a linky to what we have available in Sydney - Cat Protection Society They offer cheap vet's for neutering, chipping and vaccinations. Really hope you have something similar, 20 kittens is a huge task!!! :)
Mimii
There won't be literally 20 kittens guys, for people that know so much about cats I would think you would realize this. :\ Edit: Oh yeah I forgot to say that we didn't know Pewter wasn't fixed because we haven't had her very long. The other cat is my fiance's mom.
Ruto
20 kittens is an exaggeration, guys. :P A cat's first litter usually contains only 2 or 3 kittens, then 4 or 5 on the next litters.
hrtbrk
My comment had nothing to do with her 20 kitten comment lol... It was much 'worse'. I was going to say (awaits for backlash and offended people) if they were my cats I'd get the pregnancies aborted, depending on how far along they are. On another note "The other cat is my fiance's mom" LOL Funny typo, Mimi! :P The s is super important there muhahahaha ;)
Ruto
Wow. Nice typo. :P My parents never wanted new kittens, but I convinced them to let the kittens live outside. They all ran away, eventually. :(
