DiamondZ
I was thinking about zapping my kaghia into a kacheek so i could paint it disco and paint my shoyru pirate, and the other two are going in a storage account. IS this a good idea?
Mimii
It's a great idea if it will make you happy. :) That's what I always think of before I make decisions, "Will this make me happy?". If yes then go for it!
Lia Seeya
I think it's a good idea. :D And having a side account with pets isn't against Neopet rules either. Have fun!
Unstream
In contrary to what everyone else is saying, I think this is a bad idea. Zapping your pet with a specific color/species in mind is almost always a bad idea. It's very unlikely that your pet will become a Kacheek from being zapped. In fact, you have a 0.08525389853092288% chance of getting a Kacheek from a zap (statistics from lablog.sunnyneo.com, which has 177118 zaps logged). It's very rare to get something you want. You're better off making a new Kacheek.
Xepha
Well, if you lab a pet with something in mind, there are a few things to keep in mind... Firstly, you will gain some stats. It's good and bad at the same time. Some lab trained pets are really strong, and if you invest into proper training at the same time, it can be beneficial. Secondly, you may arrive at one point and get another zap that what you had in mind that is going to make you happy. Some colors are lab exclusive, so it can be pretty interesting. But as Will said, chances to get what you had in mind are really slim, so if you think your lab experience isn't going to make you happy, don't do it on a pet you have a set plan for. DiamondZ
Well ya i know its slim to get a kacheek but if i did get one i would just go buy a disco fever paint brush and use it on him, by that time i should have enough
Unstream
But "by that time" could be years from now, and during that time, your pet might turn into a species you don't like. Labbing should be more for randomness. You can't expect anything from the lab ray.
SarafinaWolf7
I agree. If you want to turn kaghia into a Kacheek, it's better to save up for a MP. The Lab Ray is random and unpredictable.
