heerozero
That's so sad! D: I didn't know you could get frozen for that! You have my sympathies. :(
Deepti M.
It's just like, ugh. I've never gotten warned before, and I get frozen for this???
lesia9920
that cant really be the reason you got iced I have 4 comps and a laptop here I use them all and have for 4 years now with no problem what so ever~ if by chance that is the reason Im sorry and would def. let tnt know the situation
Deepti M.
Well actually, that's what it said for the screenie. If I get my account back, I'm just going to transfer EVERYTHING to my side. My usukis, my Safety Deposit Box, everything. I need to start "afresh." I just mean I need a new account name. ;) I'm over it, but hopefully I'll get my account back.
Unstream
What was the reason that TNT gave you? You should have gotten a reason for why you were frozen when you tried to log in.
Mimii
That stinks BAD. I hate it when that happens. If I got frozen now for no reason I would just quit forever. I have SO MUCH money invested in Neopets (REAL money!!) that it would just be like a slap in the face for me. Of course if I was doing bad things and breaking rules on purpose then it would be my own fault but I don't plan on breaking rules. D:
Sapphy the Swamp Witch
Whoa, never heard of that reason for being frozen before o_O. Do you think you can provide a screenie? I'd like to see what it says. I didn't know that was against the rules, though...
odee
i dont think that is the reason. i've open my account using multiple connections before. uhhhmmm.. i think 5 -6 connections but my account did not get frozen. can you post a screenie here of the violation? im just curious :D
Xepha
You know what you have to do now. Fill the form and cross your fingers to get it back. Sorry it happened :(
Queen Diva
I don't think it was the reason either... I've also had it open at different places, had it on the lappie and then on the University computers at the same time at one stage and they all use different IP addresses... Good luck on getting your account back though!
Mimii
Did you maybe send a neomail that had hateful type messages in it? Can't you get frozen for that? Also things like posting usernames on the boards and accusing them of cheating or you know like calling them Key Quest quitters (even if they ARE, ugh!) is considered harassment. Did that maybe happen?
tempdisplay
all i can say is i'm soooooooooooooooooooooo sorry but now you've scared me. i can't use two computers? wait i use the same router so i gusse thats okay. right...
livvy
I use the school computers and both home computers, and my account is fine. You must have done something else to be frozen, or TNT had an epic failure and froze you for nothing.
ChaoticFission
there is also a possibility that they thought you were sharing your account, which would make the most sense. also: you said you went on your laptop. see if you can answer the following questions: did you connect to the internet via wireless? do you have a wireless router hooked up to your internet box? if yes, is it password protected? if no, did you connect to someone else's wireless signal? are there any neopets players around you that also use a wireless signal? the reason i ask is, IP address gets determined by the internet connection, NOT the computer you're using. Mimii
In addition to what Chatoicfission said someone might have been coming in on your wireless signal and maybe even using your account in a rare instance. :S Let us know what's up dear! antiaircraft
TNT being trigger-happy with their giant freeze cannon again... :sad01_anim: Best of luck getting your account back! (TNT has been known to give back unreasonably frozen accounts, so there's still hope  )

Isn't that if you don't have Dynamic IP? But in anycase, I do highly doubt that you were frozen because you were using two IP addresses. I do, however, believe it's a misunderstanding related to it. Like other users have said, if your wireless isn't protected, that could be a cuase for concern, and I too, have logged onto Neopets using different computers at different locations. Shane for Wax
Every computer in the household has the same IP address unless you use a program that manipulates your IP, or hides it by using a proxy. When I was in High School I used both school computers and my home computer. I also once got on at my sister's house, which was in an entirely different area and nothing happened. So as was mentioned, I think you did something else that got you frozen, because this simply does not compute. Course, TNT has made mistakes before. I cannot actually check the TOS, since my college blocks Neopets, but I'm sure someone will investigate and get the answer. I'm pretty sure (I just read them a couple months ago, and they usually say in the Editorial or new features if they changed it) that there is nothing about using two IPs. And I see people have been mentioning someone getting on your network and getting into your account. Who would bother hacking YOU? Ignore the thought that someone would miraculously hack into your account, then use it badly on their own network, or using yours. I say screenie, or bust. Deepti M.
Mimi, about the Key Quest quitting thing. I'm really sorry, but I thought I had to go because my mom needed to use the computer, and since I was close to the gate, I figured, why don't we both get the keys anywayz? If I could transfer my game to the laptop, I would, but I couldn't. Ok, I'll provide a screenie in my next post. Apparantly, it was for profanity. I didn't know what that meant.o-0 but i figured it out now. BUT, I have never yelled at anybody on neopets before, so I still stand by my I got frozen on neopets for no reason statement. livvy
Profanity isn't yelling; it's cursing. Are you sure you haven't said anything the filters might have picked up on?
Unstream
Ah, profanity. It's probably the shakiest of all freezes. I mean, I could get frozen for saying something like "ice cream ftw", which means "for the win", but TNT might think you trying to say something else (there are two ways that could be interpreted as profanity). Deepti M.
I barely curse in real life, much less on neopets. If they're freezing people for no reason, I am serious when I say that there may be law suits against them, whether from me, or the rest of the wrongly freezed. Unstream
Haha what are you gonna sue for? They didn't violate any laws or anything. Plus, they didn't randomly freeze you, they had "evidence", just that their freezer is very sensitive, which is required for a G-rated site that's so big.
