Your most loved and hated Christmas films

In the spirit of all things Christmas, today I watched my two favorite Christmas films of all time. The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Muppet's Christmas Carol (the VHS version not the DVD one which cuts out "the love is gone" song, and until they put it in the DVD I will continue to watch it on VHS) Anyway I was wondering what your favorite Christmas films were?

 

Or alternatively are there any Christmas films you don't like and are sick to the teeth seeing them on TV so often?

My favorites are "Miracle on 34th Street" and, of course, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". xD I don't think I have any hated films...

Hmm I guess i liked the ORIGINAL Black Christmas :/ But again, I am a horror movie fanantic. I like Rudolph, and also hmm All the movies that are like that. you know Santa Clause, the one with Heatmizer and such.

I just love Christmas Movies (they are best if you watch them off season lol)

 

I like one called 'Nez Rouge'. It's a romantic comedy. Quebecker, so most of you won't have heard about it.

 

Other than that, I know 'Santa Clause' by heart. French/English. Doesn't matter. I know that story by heart lol.

 

'Christmas Vacation' with Chavy Chase is totally hilarous too. It plays on TV every year XD.

I also forgot about "A Christmas Story".

It's a bit of a tradition with my family to watch "A Christmas Story", "Chrismas with the Kranks", and "Christmas Vacation" every year.

And so is A Christmas Story.

 

And It's a Wonderful Life is a darling movie that I think everyone should see. :D

My family watches National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation every year, on Christmas :P It's probably the only movie that we make sure to watch only once a year on the same day. We also love Christmas with the Kranks and It's a Wonderful Life.

Shall I make it a tradition to watch Harry Potter and the whatever films? :P I am so obsessed with Harry Potter. Actually, where I am, Prisoner of Azkaban is on Christmas Day, but my mother might stop me from watching it. <_<

 

Anyway, I would watch Elf and the 1996 version of Miracle on 34th Street. Obsessed with Mara Wilson here, while mother is obsessed with Jane Leeves (only because of her being Daphne Moon in Fraiser. :P)

The Nightmare Before Christmas was spectacular for a movie without any CG. I like all of Tim Burton's works. I also always watch both the original cartoon and Jim Carrey versions of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I remember a while back when holiday specials were good and most memorable, and my favorite was The Year Without a Santa Claus (which is the one with Heat Miser in it). And the other claymation movies, including one about the life of Santa Claus, the name I don't remember. But today I don't watch TV much, so I haven't seen those movies in a while...

It's a love-hate thing between me and American TV movies. They always have something to do with best christmas light decorated house comtest.
