illegal_light Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 This close to the end of the Altador Plot where you have to search for the "spell book". I'm so stuck. These are my coordinates for the Sleeper constellation: (-225, 42) (-185, 12) (-145, -18) (-105, -18) (-65, 12) (-25, 42) If I did my math correctly then my final results are: x is 12 and y is 9. 1. Added all my x coordinates. My sum was 750 = 7+5+0 = 12. So x=12. 2. Added all my y coordinates. My sum was 72 (I added negatives as negatives and vice versa.) 7+2 = 9. So y=9. 3. I go to the library and click one of the main doors, then I put x and y into where they appropriately go in the URL. (which is [arcx=12] and [arcy=9]) 4. I go to that room, do the tab technique, tab past the four doors in the room and go through all the books. 5. I've been doing this forever. Are there exceptions to this math technique? Or am I wrong, which is very likely since the more I try to work on this, the less accurate I become. I know this plot is old, quite old. So I would be so grateful to anyone willing to help me. Please. I've been trying for hours and hours on end, no luck. If I should just give up then let me know that too. Here are the two guides I've been using. I did most of the plot with the first one, the second I used mainly for comparison of the parts I were unsure about. http://petpages.neopets.com/~FerrariHorse360 http://www.neopets.com/~Lizzie_Titanille Quote
Xepha Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I found your problem. Since your second number (Y) is under 100, you have to use that number without adding digits together. So your coordinates are 12, 72. Quote
