I love that you can buy the cards just about anywhere now so you dont have to use paypal. I like some of the things that you can get from it. I love that things dont expire like they used to. I think the items should be cheaper though, it's too easy to blow 30 bucks. Then again I also feel guilty about spending my hard earned money on things that don't really exist. But other than that it doesn't bother me one way or the other.There will allways be ppl with lots of npoints...so what if they got theirs after getting rare items for free. I personally don't mind it and do spend some NC, not excessively though. The way i see it is that i have been playing neopets since 2001 with 2 different account and haven't had to pay a penny. I've probably spend more time logged into neo than i have spend on all the Playstation games i've ever owned and they are like £40 each! I think some of the items i can buy there are so cute and all that :D I havent buy`d anything from the NC mall,just gotten NC in some free events thingie.But i will do that when i can.. I want the NC mall cards you can buy from RL stores,especially the one with Dr.Sloth on..(he rules),but the cards do not sell in the part of the country(Norway) i am living in... :ohno: I think that you really can do anything with sites who start turning commercial.It is just the way of the world.. <_< And i do think that amitybelle has a very good point. Neopets make money, keep the site going, but the items cannot be traded or sold (save for one or two special items once in a while apparantly). So the game won't turn into a 'people with money irl get money in game too' sort of game like alot of other games get to be. However, just like I hate spending my neopoints in the game unless there's something I absolutely have to have, I hate spending real-world money unless there's something I have to have (like a paint program). I personally do not have a problem with the mall, but I think after the items are 1 year old, they should be released to the general public. Then more, new items take their place in the Mall.
