I have not yet been able to start playing an actual game. All the people get in, we roll the die, and pick the locations, then at the loading phase after that, it stays forever. Does anyone esle have this problem? Or is the load time actually this long? I don't think it should be...

The loading time may be up to a minute. It'll seem like it's longer, but just be patient. However, if someone leaves after the dice have been rolled, that causes KQ to malfunction, so in that case, just try again.

If you want, we can test out a game together... and see we can get it working :) PM me.

Eh, its fine. I got the game to load once, but it was really slow. It also ended early, for no reason. Firefox memory usage leaped to 140,000 K, which is more than my computer can handle. :sad01_anim:

The memory usage would be Flash Player, possibly coupled with some inefficient coding (usually unavoidable in betas). TNT should have it fixed before the final release.

I find a good way to figure out if your game has crashed is to say something on the chat. If the message goes through, you are still active and just need to wait a bit longer. If the message doesn't, chances are your game is crashed. Refresh and try again.

Also, if you have a lot of trouble with loading and lag, try to keep to 2 player games. I've noticed loading time goes skyhigh when 4 people are struggling to get in at the same time.

Other than that, sometimes it just does not work. Only thing you can do is to keep trying.

The next build of the game is currently in beta for Premiums - its much, much better with the loading thing, only takes a minute or so on a decent connection. Though, it still crashed my laptop when I played in FF3 lol

Try using another browser if you can. FF3 is not really very good with large-memory Flash files yet.

For the record, it's actually Adobe Flash Player for Firefox that has those issues. Things are slightly better in version 10 of Adobe Flash, which should be released pretty soon.
