Ian
What's up everyone? Recently MNR - a Neopets radio station - was able to get an exclusive phone interview with Donna Williams the co-creator of Neopets. Donna answers tons of questions ranging from "Do you still play Neopets?" to "What's your favorite food/drink/band?". It's pretty awesome, and totally unscripted - which makes it very cool, Donna has a great sense of humor. Interview - On Demand! MNR has given TDN (and TSN) an exclusive copy of their interview to allow our users to listen to on demand right here on the site, how sweeet is that! Thank you MNR, and be sure to check out the interview - it's great! Yes, just view the recording at our sister site, TSN! :D
Superfly
Woah! I love this interview and being able to hear it live on demand right here is amazing. Donna ftw!
Meeptroid
I listened to it on the actual website when it aired for the last time. I absolutely enjoyed it! And does anyone else feel honored that The Daily Neopets and Twin Skies Now has the exclusive opportunity to host the file? Let's just hope it stays that way. :P (You know who you are...) Ruto
That's awesome. I'm glad we're priviledged to get an exclusive copy of that. b)
YoungRL01
I think the interviewer was a little nervous ("Right, right. Right. Okay um -- *cuts off Donna and rushes to next question*) and probably a little starstruck, too, as he kept giving his opinions and was subtly bashing the commercialization of Neopets, because that's one of the big reasons Donna (and Adam, too) left the site. That was pretty neat to listen to, though!

That was pretty neat to listen to, though! I was indeed nervous. I had never conducted a true interview before, so it was truly a learning experience! As for cutting Donna off, I had three full pages of questions, and I didn't want to take up too much of her time. :) As for responding with my opinion, that probably was a bad decision. Though, I didn't want her to think I was ignoring what she was saying... and I wanted to make the interview interactive at the same time. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though! And I hope everyone else does too. :)
Xepha
Trevor, it was really good for a first interview ;D (If you want tips to improve in this area, just PM me :) I did a 45h class about interview and I conducted 3 since then :) ) The only complain that I have is that sometime it was a little hard to hear what was said. Like, the quality of the recording... but it's mostly always like that with amateur interview. Good job! :D We *heart* Donna and MNR! I don't want you to think I was bashing *you*, either, by the way; for a first interview it was a pretty good job!
antiaircraft
I'm glad you enjoyed it, though! And I hope everyone else does too. :) I'm sure everybody here enjoyed it, myself included. It's not often that I get to listen to phone interviews. XD Random: This interview finally motivated me to fix my audio/video streaming plugin setup (which I broke a few weeks back). :P

Thank you. :D Regarding the quality, I do have the high quality copy right here. Though, the file is HUGE. I exported it out at 320kbps. I didn't want the file to be too large, so yeah. Plus, the speed of internet that I was on when I was uploading the interview was very slow. I had an emergency, so I had to downsize it quite a lot. We'll have a high quality version coming soon. It sounds much better. :)
Xepha
Oh, that rocks ;D Anyway, thanks for providing the interview to TDN. It is really appreciated :D

Sugar Gar
Next you need to bribe Adam with a planet made of asparagus.
TheUnknown
I just realized... since uh... Ollie is gone, does TNT just add him into the games as a running gag? o_O
Sugar Gar
He added himself into a lot of games from what I've heard. I think only one game has been released with him in it since he left, and he probably had worked on it so... I mean, he hasn't been working at meteor for too long. Not more then three months, I think, but I can't be sure... I just have a friend who is an ollie fan and she realized his lookup was lacking in the staff message. xD
TheUnknown
:O What's his lookup? I've always wondered what his account would be like... o_O
