  1. I need to practice too. It's hard sometimes though, and like I mentioned earlier, I tend to get distracted easily. I've been listening to music though, so that helps. :)

    EDIT:

Apparently a Holographic Coltzan's Shrine Stamp RSed in the attic today!!!

    !!!!!!!

    :O

    EDIT:

I haggled on a Healing Springs Stamp. Didn't get it though, even though there were seven. :sad01_anim: My computer is lagging like crazy. I think I need to restart.

  2. That's a good idea. The post office is kinda fun, because it restocks a lot and there are a lot of different stamps. Thanks for inspiring me to go there. I've been there, chocolate, and the magic shop recently - I tried for a Faerie Xweetok Morphing Potion! Those things go fast too, but chocolate is way more frustrating.

  3. la de da

I'm trying to RS in stamp. :laughingsmiley: I got some neat Mystery Island stuff, but nothing that great yet.

And gosh chocolate goes quickly! Stupid avatar. :grrr:

    EDIT:

P.S. I have a hard time trying to decide what I want in my gallery. I love Mystery Island and Illusen, so I started collecting those things a long time ago. I haven't added to it in a while. I also tend to hoard green things, because I like the color. I've been selling some to get some NP.

I'm thinking about selling some things in my gallery to make NP. I'm thinking about making a tea-based gallery because I love tea, but I'm not sure. Plushies are neat too. I think they make a pretty gallery. :) I just sold a bunch of cheap ones though when I was trying to clear my SDB after packrat.

    EDIT 2:

    I HATE YOU CHOCOLATE SHOP!!!!!

haha, just tried to haggle on an item for the avatar. :sad01_anim:

  4. I've always been the same way, but I matured earlier. Since my sister would have nothing to do with me, and she wouldn't allow her friends to have anything to do with me, I didn't hang around with anyone my sister's age. Then outside of school, in church as such, there was no one my age. So I usually hung around adults. So I learned to fit into that group early.

I think I have some of that from being an only child. I don't have any siblings, and my cousins are either much older or much younger than me. I've been around adults a lot and gotten along well with them, even at church too.

  5. I bought one as an investment, thinking it will be worth a lot more later. I bought another one in case I decide that I want one for myself. :laughingsmiley: It would be hard for me to put it in an album though if it's worth a lot more.

Hopefully they do go up... who knows, maybe I'll end up selling both.

  6. The ray is fired at JimiJimiJimi42...

... and she changes colour to Electric!!

    Petpet:

But... nothing happens. It makes a kind of 'zzrrrppptttt' sound before shutting down completely. The creepy Kookith shoos you away and appears quite angry, so you hightail it out of there before he shoots some miniature laser beam at you or something.

Looks like you'll have to come back tomorrow.

  7. Welcome back! I really want a radio alarm clock because I heard that they are really good. The only bad thing is that the song you wake up to is stuck in your head for the rest of the day!

I found a CD that doesn't get stuck in my head too much.

I made my own ringtones for my last phone. I took some songs, shortened them to ringtone size in Garageband, and saved them as mp3s. Then I put them in the "Downloaded Ringtones" folder on my phone. With my new phone though, I haven't been able to connect it to the computer. I think I have to buy a cable (which was supposed to come with my phone). ack!

  8. Well, it could have been worse.

    King Hagan Says:

I'm not dense, youngin'. I already knew that!

I'll give you 48 Neopoints for the effort, though.

Perhaps a bit of studying will help you before you return tomorrow.

  9. I hate waking up to my alarm so much, my body wakes me up anywhere from 1-5 minutes before it goes off. It gives me just enough time to shut it off before it goes off.

And Sunday - Wednesday, I have to get up 5:30 to 6am. Ick.

That is icky! I have an alarm that uses music, so I can wake up to the radio or a CD. I should probably change out the CD, haha. It doesn't take too much to wake me up. Getting out of bed can be difficult though... :laughingsmiley:

I think getting up in the sixes or earlier is gross, though I usually end up having to wake up in the sixes.

Sometimes my mom or my dad thinks that I should be up by a certain time so I won't be late for something that day and they wake me up before my alarm goes off. I hate that!

  10. My "YESSSS!" was for the Monday thing by the way...

My grade school was early (I forget exactly, I think 7 - something). My middle school was actually later, because they figured that we were getting to be an age where we needed more sleep. It was 8:55. I went an hour early in 8th grade though to take a high school Spanish class. My high school was around 8:15.

EDIT: Though later I had to get to high school around 7:30 so my mom could get to work. My freshman year of college was awesome, with late morning/early afternoon classes, except one semester I had a lab at 8:30 AM. I had one semester where I had no class Friday and my first class Monday was at 3:45 PM. :D

Then, I had 8:30 AM classes every semester. :sad01_anim:

  11. Wow, I missed a lot of posts. Been busy yesterday and today.

Well I'm not sure you have to go into med school. Apparently certain types of doctors can go to grad school and get a Ph.D. instead of an M.D. (immunologists being one of them).

I'm not sure what you're looking at... my boss is an immunologist with a PhD. The job description when you have a PhD is much different than when you have an MD. Trust me, the pay is much, much better from an MD perspective. Of course, there are many other things to consider as well.

I'm about to start a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I'm interested in medicine and all things medical, but I could never be a doctor, so I'm going into the research side of things. (I also like science).

The head of my old lab has a PhD and MD. This is becoming more common for medical researchers.

True, but from what my counselor told me, a Ph.D. won't be nearly as useful as an M.D., especially in terms of average salary. Plus, if you go for a Ph.D. but have most classes in preparation for an M.D. it may be more difficult to find a job since you might lack special skills acquired in classes that certain employers deem necessary for their doctors. I'm just doing general studies this year until I can choose as well. I figure it's best to take classes I know will be useful in any career I decide upon.

On the other hand, you could do the whole luxury doctor thing like Royal Pains. :P

I'm not sure what you mean... a lot of the classes are the same. One of my bachelor's degrees is in biochemistry, and the only class that I would really need to be pre-med is anatomy and physiology, which I think you have to take if you're a biology major. It's pretty easy to meet the requirements for both.

I am soooo confused right now. Did someone zap the HOP post and now it's confused?

I'm confused too. I think it was zapped as well.

    Hissi = <3

    -Reads BD chat-

Hm, I didn't know you could drop the F-bomb on Neo. I thought the boards filtered it... o.o'

FL FTW! Guess where i'd go if DC ws ever kicked out. xD

Lulz the DCer love the idea of me in a pink and purple jersey. :P

Really? I lurk there... have yet to see the f-bomb.

Anyone else think Mondays should be cancelled?

    I'd agree to that.

    YES!
