I think Eventide is simply gorgeous...and that's the first time I've ever thought something on Neopets was gorgeous!

My dream pet is a Lutari and before today, I was going to paint her Desert or Maractite. Now I'm quietly praying that TNT will allow Lutaris to be painted Eventide by April 19 (Lutari Day), because the color has rocketed to the top of my list!

And I definitely agree with those who say "no clothes". You have to keep the pet...em...naked...to truly appreciate the beauty of the color/paintbrush.

I've been making a list of avvies I want to get and the items I need to buy or save for to get them, but I seem to have left out a little information in my notes. I have down "Air Faerie Crown", but I forgot to note what avatar that gets me.

Can anyone help?

It seems to me that once upon a time, there was a list on the actual Neopets site that listed the top ten players (or something like that); but I imagine that was back when the main navigation bar was still a sidebar and that they took it down because it was essentially an open invitation for hackers.

(I remember it, because it seems like the wealthiest Neopian was one of the administrators and he had a bajillion points or something.)

I was just curious if there was a way to delete a Neopets account that you don't want anymore? It's been so long since I've had one that I don't want that I forgot whether it's actually possible to do so.

I don't like the username on my side anymore, so I moved the few neopoints I had to my main, move the items over to my new side...and now I can't figure out how to delete the old one.

Help, please?

My first account is nine years old and I'm 99% sure I remember the username and password. Buuut I think I registered it with a fake birthdate and I can't remember what it is. :P

I've tried my real birthdate; my real date one year earlier; January 17, 1986; January 17, 1985 and the birthdate of the novel character that the account was named after, October 31, 1978.

I can't remember the email address that goes with it (long since abandoned, I'm sure) and I can't remember any details about it (except where the username and password come from and why the sole pet is named that way), so there's no point in trying to email TNT.

I hope that it's broke and has no items of any value, so I don't keep wondering and trying to get into it for another nine years!

I noticed that it said when I entered that there was no changing back if we won. Does that mean that we can't zap them with the lab ray later on?

(Oh dear...I almost wrote "lapped them with the Zab Ray". Something's hinky up in brainland...:laughingsmiley:)

Anywho, how much would you recommend I sell it for? I was thinking of putting it up on the TP and asking for a regular Mauket in exchange (since I already have the brush), but I don't want to undersell myself.

I was thrilled to get a gold Mauket during the GMC (especially since it seems like standard Maukets were still about 9m at the beginning of last month). Out of curiosity, I checked the available colors for the Mauket and discovered that Halloween is the one I like best. I purchased a Halloween Petpet Paint Brush from the trading post, headed over to the Petpet Puddle and...nothing. The puddle claimed I didn't have a brush to use.

Do you suppose it's because the Mauket is so new that it's not ready to paint, or is it because the gold Mauket is a special prize and therefore unpaintable?

After I asked, I went and sent a message to one of the users that had a reasonably priced brush. I said, "I would like to set up a private auction to purchase your shadow paint brush." She said okay and now I'm waiting for it to close! :)

(The only bad thing is that I had no idea if--or when--we'd be online at the same time, so I set a huge purchase window. Now I have to wait 'til 10-something NST to get my brush! :P )

So what is the consensus? Private trade, private auction or Baby pb as a trading tool?

I went to make a trade on a paintbrush about 45 minutes ago and it said that I could only trade 800k for something.

I'm pretty sure that's not a site-wide thing, or people wouldn't be offering things for 1m+. So am I missing something? Like the amount of NP you can put down on an item is relative to how long you've had your account?

I discovered that you have to click the telescope frame to get the view to move.

Now I can't get the constellation recognized. I select the left stars with the hand, then the right stars. I connect the stars on the left with the pen, then the stars on the right (but not in a V shape). I hit submit and it says it doesn't recognize the constellation.

I've tried clearing my cache and I get the same response.

Any ideas?

I can see the first two stars of the left side, but I have to hunt around with the pen (or the hand) to find the third...and the right side is completely off the telescope.

Do you have any suggestions?

You had to do it within a certain time limit or you got stuck with the rock trophy? That rots!

Nevertheless, I'll keep the probable time limit thing in mind in case I ever decide to do another plot in the future.

(P.S.: I fall under "didn't qualify for the other tiers"...so why don't I have my trophy yet?)

Just for the record, this is probably my fourth or fifth account. This is my oldest account, for which I can no longer remember the password. DRyelle was my next oldest, but it was frozen sometime between the beginning of the year and the beginning of November, when a hacker/scammer got to it. I have been off and on for years and I, too, remember the original site (as well as thinking, "What the hell happened?!" when I finally came back.)

*sigh* It's like TNT's being more and more commercialised yet not living up to standards.

That's it in a nutshell. I like Nickelodeon (or at least I used to), but I don't think Neopets is as good as it was before they took over.

This is my first plot, so I don't have any past plots to compare it to, but it seems like the rewards system is a little imbalanced, even without the glitch.

My first plot, too...that's why I'm not sure if I should file a report, because I'm not sure I did enough. But if I received stuff like the key and the flower and the gear table (the in-game prizes), shouldn't I at least get the rock trophy?

I'd like to do future plots (namely because the older accounts that have bunches and bunches of trophies make me envious), but I wonder if I should waste the time if the system is always this glitchy.

I did everything but the games*; however, I joined the plot late, so the balancing thing was already fixed.

I have seven items in my quest log, but I received none of the rewards (not even the rock)....I'm going to assume that was because I got into it so late.

It's a shame, but you-know-what happens. :P
