Now, I don't mean to complain, since we're lucky to have a plot at all, but this is just like Petpet Park.

 

Just reading comics and clicking around for the whole plot, from what I expect. There's no way TNT will pay real attention to the plot steps or fit them in properly with a NC Challenge going on.

I guess it depends on why you want to be in a guild. I like my current one because it's to do with the NT, writing and stuff like that, which I like. Beyond that, I agree with everyone else - guilds are pretty boring with all the restrictions.

Alright, thanks! I wonder if it could still get into the Halloween edition, though? I checked the last few special issues, and the new series very rarely had anything to do with the holiday. (I mean, a holiday is just one day...you can't really write a series of stories on that xD) Well, I'm glad it's held over, and could get published, at any rate. This topic can be locked now. ;)

She was a Red Korbat. I can't remember what her name was really, but I typed in a name starting with 'B' (Bethany or something like that?) but since it was obviously taken, a whole list of suggestions came up, all of them with the name plus a string of ten or more numbers next to it...I pounded her a few years later, but yeah, her name was something like Bethany490785039673218. LOL

That's a bit of a difficult question...I spent my first two years or so on Neopets acting like a noob, to be blunt. xD So I only managed to save up about 33k in those two years! But after I discovered TDN, everything changed, and since I actually knew how to earn the money...starting from when I started to seriously save, it took about a month. ;) I mainly played games, restocking lightly, and using the stock market (but very rarely).

Lol, I've now got the words popular, confident and nice stuck in my head. xD

 

My definition of popular? Someone who has the most friends and has admirers.

 

Yeah some people can be popular and be horrible about it...there's one girl in my grade who became popular because she's nasty to some people and constantly breaks the rules, so the ones she's nice to think she's cool, and in this way she acquired a whole load of friends.

 

On the other hand, there are many people I know that are nice to pretty much everyone, even if they can be a little bit annoying sometimes, and that's how they got all their friends.

 

Of course, popular be summed up in another way too. In my first few weeks at secondary school this year, I was joining a community that already knew each other, so I was a bit 'popular' at the time since everyone was so interested in this new girl. Lol.

Congrats - I saw them in Create-a-Pet but didn't get one, as I've got an Aquatic Neopet already, my Koi. Then, today, I suddenly realised I needed the avatar so I was like D'OH! xD

Ahh, OK. Thanks, both of you! Well, my one's really got nothing to do with Halloween, except for one line in part 4 when Dr. Death says "You're not an owner wearing a Halloween suit." Although that scene actually takes place in the early morning...xD. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Thanks!

Try putting it up for auction at 3.5 million? Then everyone would be like 'WOW cheap!" and you'll have a whole bunch of people bidding. Before long, it should be sold. ;)

Just a question to you Neopian Times writers/artists out there - I was wondering how long does it usually take for TNT to accept/reject a held over submission? I have a series being held over right now and (I know this sounds selfish xD) I was hoping it would be published in time for the Halloween issue. Thanks in advance!

I'm just glad there is a plot at all. Of course, it's a bit disappointing that NeoCash is involved (this usually means TNT won't concentrate much on the prizes that aren't NeoCash - remember the ACIV prize shop) but if the plot itself is good, I'll take all that back. ;)

*rubs eyes* Just when we get used to using a bar at the top instead of a sidebar, TNT, you had to change it! Ah well. It's confusing, they really should've put customise in the place where 'video' was and left everything else be.

First off, sorry if I was a bit harsh in that first post. I suppose we just have different standards - if that was me, I'd be extremely happy with a 50k item, and to me, a 500k Paint Brush would definitely not be pathetic or nothing, even compared to much more valued prizes. Of course, if that's your main way of earning neopoints, I guess that would be pretty frustrating - I don't really spend a lot of time concentrating on earning money, so...yeah. ;)

 

Anyway, I'm still sure it has nothing to do with account age, because TNT would have to check each and every one, and that would take much more time than awarding random prizes. Sure, some people would get lucky, but it's still...luck.

It's not because of your account age - it's random. For the PG, (which has a similar prizes type to the AG - 1000np and a rare item) I haven't won anything UB yet. (Striped Paint Brush, some kind of Petpet Paint Brush, Faellie) Of course, I've only won three times...xD.

 

Those people may be lucky, but it's just random. You should be happy you've got prizes already! Honestly, isn't a 500k paint brush good enough? I don't see anything you need to complain about, personally. You clearly like drawing - so having your artwork displayed by TNT should be reward enough!

 

Furthermore, think about the people who write for the Neopian Times. All they get is a trophy - they don't get any neopoints or prizes, unless it's in a special issue, which is around once a month I think? They don't complain about how they should get better prizes. Having others see their work is good enough for them (and me, in the PG). You should be grateful. ;)

In the FAQ it did say that after we read the comic, we go on our own adventure.

 

Since we haven't seen Roxton go to Shenkuu yet, it probably means we'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Well, this is only the first part...we haven't seen a comic of them going to Shenkuu yet.

 

Perhaps we need to wait until they release the second part?

Yeah the NC Mall is included which is a bit disappointing...it means TNT will concentrate more on the NC prizes, like in the Daily Dare.

 

Well apart from that, I'm guessing we'll have to go around to different worlds in Neopia and solve puzzles?

Yeah, there's no sign of any news right now, but it means we can't be sure whether or not it's a plot. It still could be, TNT might just be late...as usual. xD

Lol yeah, and if it turns out that it isn't a plot, TNT will be FLOODED with hate mail...well, complaints. xD

I'm not sure...for some reason I have been unable to get double keys since last week. I've redeemed all my keys, too...

I sure hope it isn't another games event. Seriously, TNT, you have the New Game Challenge ongoing, and the GMC is meant to be in mid-November...we haven't had a plot all year!

 

But, this is just my opinion - 'Atlas of the Ancients' doesn't sound much like a game challenge. It sounds like a plot name.

No, UC Robo Yurbles don't exist.

 

Uncoverted (UC) means staying in the old Neopets art.

Perhaps it meant that the journey would actually start on 15 October, not when the news for 15 October would be updated? :/ I've checked Lutari Island too, nothing has changed there.
