    had that happen to me about 3 years ago and after 3 days the pet changed back to her original color.

    the pet will change back. it's only a temporary change.

    go to the quests and click on tutorial, do what is asked and you'll get one as part of your tutorial package. it can't be sent as a gift, I tried.
