I'm just wondering why my sound is not working on my games when I go to play on Neopets?  I have Firefox . . . i've had this problem before and someone helped me to fix it, but I just cannot remember what the solution was and can not find out where I wrote that solution down so I can remember it for next time this happens So sorry to bother you with this again, but I will write it down this time and keep it in a safe place & thank you so very much for you help

I did these steps as was showed to me in December of 2018 (and it worked than, after I followed the directions, but is not working after following the directions again?)

So if you can tell me anything else, I would greatly appreciate it and TYSVM;)

I also cleared cache and re set it to clear cache automatically because that's what it was set to.

I rebooted my entire system and still do not hear any sound coming from Neopets Games?

What else can I do please & thank you

This could be a "long shot", but maybe check the following:

1. In Firefox, go to Neopets.

2. Once there, click on the circle with the "i" in the center, located to the left of the Neopets web address, in Firefox's address bar.

3. Where it shows "www.neopets.com" and "Connection is not secure", click on the arrow pointing right ("Show connection details").

4. Next, at the bottom, click on "More Information".

5. In the new pop-up window that opens, at the top, click on the "Permissions" icon/tab.

6. Look for "Automatically Play Media with Sound".

7. Make sure it is set to "Use Default", or "Allow" - "Use Default" should show the "Allow" radio button set, but greyed-out.

8. If you had to change that setting, close that pop-up window, and refresh the Neopets web page. See if sound is working, again.

Not sure how you could have turned that option off, but it could explain why sound is only affected on Neopets.

I've no idea, I have looked into it myself but because of the MS my ability to understand the things I find is very limited, so I tend to just give up. It's not a huge big deal, I can just mute everything with the speaker control if I need stuff to shut up. I'll just patiently wait for things to magically fix themselves. 

So sorry you have MS I see you play Menewsha, Yantato . . . I have been trying for two days now to get to play that game, and I do not receive any notifications in my e-mail so that I can play the game?  Is there an issue with Menewsha or do you know if there is a way that I can get to play it?

What TAB are you referring to?

I have no sound while playing games on Neopets?  Did I touch something by accident that I should not have?  Can someone please help me to get my sound back?  I have sound on YouTube and other areas, but not while playing Neopets games?

This all happened after the windows 10 update two days ago.  I'm on Firefox.

To be honest with you? If I even knew how to get those potions, without having to use NC, than I would join in on this thingy, but I am losing out on a lot of those dailies because of that dumb purple haze!!!  I wish that it could be an option for us to want to join in on these things, but instead, everything has to be made difficult, and we HAVE to be included in this . . . I FOR ONE DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS ONE SINGLE BIT :( :( :(

If you get a grey box, instead of a game loading, in Chrome, try this:

1. Open Chrome.

2. Go to Neopets (www.neopets.com).

The 8 Shockwave games are Attack of the Slorgs, Castle Battles, Dice Escape, Frumball, Gourmet Club Bowls, Hannah and the Ice Caves, Hannah and the Pirate Caves, and The Return of the Return of Dr. Sloth (TROTRODS).  The 3 3DVIA games are Shenkuu River Rush, Terror Mountain Tilt, and The Last Blast. If the game is one of these games, then it is a different issue.

If the game(s) still do not load, try clearing Chrome's cache. To do so:

1. In Chrome, click on the three vertical dots, located in the top, left corner of Chrome.

2. Select "More tools", and then "Clear browsing data...".

3. In the "Clear browsing data" window that opens, under "Basic", make sure only "Cached images and files" is selected. "Uncheck" for "Browsing history" and "Cookies and other site data".

4. Click the "Clear Data" button.

5. Close Chrome and reopen. Go back to Neopets and see if the game(s) now load.

If the games still do not load, then check if Chrome or Flash requires an update. Flash is "built-in" to Chrome. Chrome updates usually update the built-in Flash. However, if the first two methods didn't work, I can post on how to check for Chrome and Flash updates for Chrome, if you post that the two methods didn't work.

One other item that could be an issue is if you are using an older version of Chrome because you are using an old operating system (OS) like Windows XP or Vista. The last version of Chrome supported for those OSes is version 47. Allowing Flash for that version of Chrome is different.

Now, I have one other question ;)

In Firefox, I not only cleared cache, but it told me to do something like restart it.  I forgot where I read it, but it took out all that garbage that was holding firefox back from running properly. 

While I am able to now play games on Google Chrome on Neopets, they run slowly.  I have cleared out the cache, and was wondering if there is a fix for Chrome like there is on Firefox?  Is their anyway that I can restart it or something where it will still save my information, but will clear out all unnecessary things?  Just a reminder, it's not clear cahche, it's something more in depth ;)

I was wondering if this ad blocker you speak of helps with the games actually loading?  When I was on the neoboards, I noticed a topic that said that Google Chrome their is a fix for when you go play the Neopets games, when they come up blank, and they gave the fix for it, but I did not bother to copy and paste it as I have been quite fed up with chrome because of this issue.  Is there any way that someone can please tell me what to do and guide me through this step by step and tell me how I can let chrome let me play games on Neopets and load them correctly instead of getting a blank game page?  Thank You ever so much ;) 

I would also like to know how to take a screenshot and find it.  I know I just hit print screen, but after I do that, where do I go to find what I print screen?

What do you mean your Neopet has until the end of the month before she doesn't work for the avatar anymore?
