    I am putting one of my old dreamies up for adoption. I love him but I think I am going to let go of my premium account and do not want one of them to be pounded when it lapses. I only have one account so if anyone will take great care of him, I would love to transfer him to you. Details below!

    It depends on your budget, really.  I think a Royal Mauket would look really nice with fowntaign - but I completely understand if that's too much.  Any color of Mauket would look nice with her.  A Glyme would make a nice petpetpet - but I don't know how much they are right now.  

     

    Seel might look nice with a Plushie Doglefox or anykind of Plushie; it's an inexpensice yet adorable color.  A Ditrey would be a perfect petpetpet, in my opinion.  

     

    For jolesen's petpet, fire kind of an obvious choice - any petpet of that color would be nice, but I think the Fire Tanizard would be perfect.  A Lightmite is a good petpetpet choice.  

     

    I'm not exactly sure what petpet, for Marsuvees; it depends on what you're going for.  But, a Purple Ona with an Unidentified Petpetpet would look nice

    I was thinking of a Kazeriu for Marsuvees. Seel is a Christmas pet so some wintery pets might fit the bill.

    The best I got was a Blue Xweetok Morphing Potion but you can get r99 items that are worth millions (Draphly, Glyme, Coffee Service, Mootix, Babith). You can also get a Maraquan Paint Brush and a Maraquan Petpet Paint Brush.

     

    Maraquan Paint Brush?!  :whaa:

    So I could achieve my dream of having a maraquan tonu?!  :O

    Well, drat! I keep forgetting to come back every 7 hours. I have gotten a Blue Xweetok Morphing Potion from Grave Danger though.  :)

    I recently did something similar...

    Adopted a pet from the pound and went to the giant omelette and jelly to feed it.... on a side.  :ohno:

    If you want to be sure you did the right thing, just look up Neopets help site guides on side accounts.  :)

    How To Save Up NP?

    I'll admit I squeed a little when I heard Chia Clown gives out Rainbow Paint Brushes, heheh... ^^'

    I'll have Aiveeus fight it a few times since I just healed him up.

    It's pretty rare to get the paint brush though...

    You're more likely to get cheap food or codestones.  :rolleyes_anim:

    Charity Corner helped me make my first million on Neopets... but I barely squeaked the avatar out between the lag and the price gouging. I'd love to see them tweak the event, maybe have the "requested" items be more random? Like, not everybody trying to get the exact same items? 

    Charity Corner helped me make my first million too. I sold r90 toys and "Adopt a Neopian" items for quick profit.  :laughingsmiley:  

    But I understand the people who said the system kinda went crazy.  ;)

    Maybe try giving yourself an allowance to spend on other stuff and the rest goes to your savings? The other part of saving and spending is earning. I know everyone has a different way of earning NP and not everyone has the ability to play every game or the same games. But here is an example: You can use Trudy's Surprise "winnings" and maybe your "dailies" NP winnings for yourself. I do know it does start out small, but from day 10 to day 24, you at least "win" 19K NP, with Trudy's Surprise. I do not know what you like to buy, and it may not be enough, but this is just an example. With "Ghoul Catchers", you can earn 50K NP a day. Put your "Ghoul Catchers" "winnings" into your savings. Two days of "Ghoul Catchers" will net you 100K. Sure, it will take 20 days of Ghoul Catchers to net 1M NP, but you will be closer to your goal for the Lab Ray pieces. You may be good at games, or trading stocks, or restocking, or "Food Club" bets, etc, all other ways of earning NP. I guess what I'm getting at is putting a larger amount into your savings, but keeping some amount as an allowance. That way, you don't feel you are saving all of the time and can't have some fun spending. Now if you have "expensive tastes", then you may have to look at what you want more: the expensive item or having a "lab rat". Another way to look at it, once you have the Lay Ray pieces, you are done with that - no more saving for it. Then, you can spend to your "heart's content". Enough of my blabbering. I think you get the idea. Just a thought.

    Scoobert's idea is pretty solid. 

    Do any of your pets have decent battle stats? If so, fight Chia Clown and the Obelisk War Characters (just the ones with 8 hp). Chia Clown can give you Rainbow Paint Brush and Chocolate Ice Cream which can net a good amount of NP. The Obelisk War opponents drop codestones every once in a while, which you can quickly sell.

    I agree as well. Although on two accounts I have pets without numbers in their name, on another account I have 3 pets with numbers as well as  2 with underscores and 3 with first letter being lowercase, which is another thing people seem to make too big a deal of, which I always found a bit odd considering our user names aren't even capitalized. In any case, I liked the pet's name and it stood out to me, regardless of any extra stuff, as it were. I also consider personalities. I know it's not the pet's fault, and I think they all deserve homes, but I don't like some personalities, like insult from afar and especially attack if they are weaker. I prefer when they are smile sweetly or try and make friends, however I do have my jubjub, Puffball_360 and my peophin, watermintt. Their personalities didn't show on the user lookup and when I went to the pound, it said try and make friends and smile sweetly. After I adopted I went to their user lookups and it said run awaaaay!!! and approach with caution, but of course I was not going to give up my pets just because their personalities changed. I know they are still wonderful pets and they still have great personalities to me. This was not that bad though, I wouldn't want to give them up no matter what, but I am glad they weren't the personalities I really don't like.

     

    As for the petpets, to me it is really messed up for a person to adopt a pet just so they can get the petpet and then abandon the pet again. Regardless of of how rare the petpet is, or whatever. For various reasons people can care about a pet, but still have to put it up for adoption, so they are expecting it to be adopted with the petpet and given a good home. It's also unfair to people who honestly would want to adopt that pet and they still will, but they miss out on also getting the petpet, which of course it would be more fair if they were the ones that got it. I have a few pets that came with petpets and I thought it was neat and I think this pet loves the petpet, they should be able to keep it. I do take petpets off if they've been zapped because I don't like how they can't get trophies and how they are marked, so to speak, as having been zapped. That is just my personal way of thinking about it. However, after the petpet reverts back to its original form, I attach it to the pet again.

     

    Pardon the long message, guess I had a lot to say about this particular subejct.

    I don't like insult from afar or attack if they are weaker either! They seem like mean personalities! As for names, I usually don't mind numbers or underscores either.

    My lab lady maarvyn was zapped into a Mutant Pteri today. Very strange looking. Figured I would see if anyone was interested! 

    I can change the gender too! Let me know! I will return zapping them on Monday if I don't hear from anyone!

    No suggestions for you, unfortunately, and sending a ticket won't do much of anything as you broke two giant rules on Neopets. You cannot share accounts and you cannot ask for/share personal information like emails, names etc.

     

    There's nothing you can do but move on. It sucks for those other people who were seeking the items but there's not much you can do now. :(

    I think she's right. You should have gifted the items and NOT the account. I feel bad for you but you broke the rules.  :sad01_anim:

     

    you prolly got that other person frozen as well, whether they knew it was against the rules or not.

    I hope the other person didn't get frozen.  You should have told her that you could transfer the pet to her, but as a different species. Then she could morph or zap the traded pet back into a Lutari.  

     

    Since you wanted to quit Neopets, I'm afraid you have gotten your wish but in a more unpleasant way.  :(  :(
