So I mentioned in another post how addictive I found kadoatery feeding, and wondered what others found addictive. Anything you can't stay away from on neo ?

Stufff that can be found al the time at the Money tree.

Items which don't do anything- can't be fed or read to pets, can't be used for the BD.

I did mine, and just lost it- growls :(

Of well, I was something like 40% athlete, 35% caregiver and 25% spiritual...

Basically, in 2015, I'd like to start creating a dream centre. It would be on several different petpages- and it would basically have all people's wishes and dreamies.
I'd have a dreamie list, a NP wishlist and donation items list, and a list of other wishes not envolving Neopoints or pets, for users who only have the time, not the NP or pets.

I would get people to list their dream pets, and wishlists and other requests and it could be a large database where you could go when feeling generous, or having a good zap or some spare time.

This idea came up when I zapped my Xwee fire. I checked all dream pets lists and nobody wanted her. The problem was, not enough people were listed, so there wasn't a variety of wishes, jus about 20 for a pea chia and none for some less popular species. I also thought of this when someone bought a donation item in my shop. Although I had put the items there, it was so unexpected and amazing- I thought if users could have that experiance it would be amazing! Then I thought of those who didn't have the NP or lab ray but could give something just as valuable- time and skills. So I thought of a section for requests of that sort- writing critique, art votes, data collection requests. Maybe also a section for avatar lending.

 

I do realise that it could be seen as begging. But no messages from the users would be listed, just a username and request. Look for the request you can grant, maybe grant a user with a username beginning witht the same letter as yours or pick randomly. No wish grants would be garenteed and players must keep donators a secret unless they have permission.

 

So, do you have any feedback?
Do you like the idea?
Would you use the site yourself?

School stresses me out. I'm quite clever but teachers seem to think I'm the next Einstein and push me so much that I never feel like I've actually acheived anything.

Nobody actually tells me I'm good at the work, just push me harder as if I'll fail my exams if they don't. I litterally can't rest at home or at school because at school we're in a 'very importnat year'(they say that every year) and then as soon as I get home I should be doing homework. But I really don't want to- Escaping to Neo!

Also, what I hate in my school is that your minimum expected level for art and design is an average of your maths and english. but I am hopeless at art!!! Now my art teacher thinks I'm lazy...

My English teacher also doesn't have a clue how to teach. My maths and science teachers are amazing though- because they actually told me I'd done well(although they still told me to aim higher.)

People seem to think that if I get a high level I automatically know I'm clever, so they don't send any compliments my way. But I know cleverness isn't academic, can't be measured in levels but can be measured in performance, so a small 'Well Done' actually does help!- Just as advice if one of my teachers happened to read this,

My parents are amazing and supportive, but they dont seem to realise that I'm not a genius. They don't pressure me at all, thank goodness, or I might just snap; however, if I rant to them they will tell me not to worry because I am actually doing well.

I'd probably try to continue training, and buy an Intermediate set, aiming at training though if funds are short.

Kad feeding is seriously the most addictive thing on Neo for me. I've only fed one, because I was spending so much time 'Living in 7-miute intervals' that I wasn't focused on my goal but as soon as I make my NP goal, I'm going back in!!!!

 

My goals would probably to be to earn enough neopoints to have my dream pets & the Adam avatar. And maybe get most of the avatars that aren't retired :)

I love the Adam avatar simple because you don't have to spend your NP on it- you just have to have the right amount :P

Can I do a mini advertisement for /~ZYDP? Please post your dream pet there because this is where all zappers check(including me) when I zap a new colour.

Isn't it strange that after on the Neoboards we were reassured it would be fine, so many people told me there was no need to panic, and now I'm locked out!

When I finally get spending money again would it be better for me to improve my set(ultranova, scarab ring, parasol of ultimate demise, gilded war hammer and that potion(whose name I can't remember) which heals you by 20 and takes 20hp away from your opponent. I also have 2 muffins.)) Or should I focus more on training?

I don't have premium but would like to be able to beat Koi warrior without losing half my hp each time.

Going to go for 200 avatars once I've hit my neopoint goal!!

Ok forget it. I can't concentrate on homework right now.

So I'm going to go over my goals for neo and chat on as many boards as is humanly possible.

I'd love premium if only for the nerkmids, not a reality right now, so I focus mainly on games, KQ ,my shop, battling and the Faerieland employment agency. I'm not making much though, so it may be best not to follow what I'm doing currently. FC is also a great income and stocks bring in $$$$$.

I'm not really interested in the 'reputation' side of it, it's just so much fun!! -seeing high numbers of avatars, lines of trophies that complement my lookup. I agree with slavecrown over the customizing part. I don't enjoy it much, I'm not a greatly creative person so neopoints goals my motivate me far more. I'd be glad to have a board where I can discuss and help others, look for guilds and just generally hang out while enjoying improving my account. This is definitelyly my opinion though, feel free to disagree :)

My own goals are:

Reach 200 avatars

Reach 100 stamps and 100 neo deck cards

Shop size 100

1 line of game trophies

This is basically my problem. I can't save bc I spend too much on codestones for all my pets, not just my main battle pet. I have the lab on two of my 4 accounts. I like to zap pets a few times and then adopt them out when they turn into something cool. I kept my garlic jub though, because I love it. But I pretty much save up for a weapon I want, nab it and then I'm down to basically no NP (like 100k just to maintain FC bets) and have to save all over again. Maybe I should focus on the 10 million NP goals some of you have and go from there?

I definitely recommend it. I was completely unable to stop spending, so a 10mil goal helped a lot. Also, if you have a spending cap, it might help. Like not letting yourself go below a certain amount, increasing that amount really often. You can still spend but this way you can monitor it. E.g if you want a 5 million weapon and your cap is 3 million, save until you reach 8 million, then but it.

Seeing as account improvement is enormous in Neopia now, I thought it would be great to have a thread where we can discuss our account improvement goals, guilds and guides. In general, the idea of this thread is to help other folks get "well-rounded" accounts--avatars, trophies, pets, etc.
P.S It would be amazing if this board was important enough to be pinned so we can all come here to chat about our accounts.

I am so sad over Habi. I'm in a Habi themed guild, it is what got me back on to Neo after I took a hiatus when my account was lost....

 

 

I used Habi a lot as a main source of income, I do restock, but it's not my forte, KQ is good, but it took me so much time to play enough games and I rarely have more than an hour a day to play Neo.

I hope they'll introduce a new way to make NP...something like FC, stocks, Plushie Tycoon or Habi which we can slowly figure out how to use, how to make the profits, and form new legends like the ones of old, like w3 is for the stock market.

I guess Neopets was the one place I(naively) thought would never change almost. This jolts me back to reality. I hope they don't change too much else.

Donate for items between 20-200 np, discard for junk. Anything else, I'd probably sell. Question, where do the items go when discarded?

I felt so guilty pounding my very first pet earlier on this year. I looked her up now though, she's painted Shadow and is customized, has an active owner etc. So I'm ok now but back then, it hurt :(

 

Also, at the risk of sparking off another debate, they are just pixels right?....It hurt to say that :P

I don't wish enough I guess...but I've never gotten anything. Do you think if I gave more than 21NP it would help?

I know there are loads of boards askign this, but I do need help picking my sell point. Right now I'm just building , and don't sell at all, but next year I was thinking of using http://www.neopets.com/~stepchild2 'Million a Month' method. But what would you recommend? By then ,my port will be at around 250-275k shares.

I would like any sell point which gives the best profits, even if that spreads out over a year. I would like to carry on building as well, but maybe by about 100k shares a year. So I guess that's selling around 100-200k shares a year MAX.

So summary:

I don't want to sell more than 200k shares a year,

A million NP a month would be great.

What works for you?
