With over 2000 weapons for the BD, it can be hard to whittle it down without knowing a bit more about your fighting style, or your battle pet. ;) There may be species-specific items that are good that you might want to aim for in the future. Such as a Healer or Freezer.

 

If you're just starting out, we have 2 battlepedia articles I think you might find useful.

First is the basic weapon sets. It has basic sets sorted by price and type. Some of the best items for the price are listed here.  Prices are updated periodically. There are others, but these are good guidelines.

Is there a specific opponent you wish to battle? I'm good with coming up with budget battling sets. I did it that way, so it comes from experience. lol 100k per is a pretty good price-range per item. But the more information about your pet and if you've got a targeted 1-player opponent, would help greatly in determining a good set of weapons for you.

 

One thing I will suggest is called "Downsize!" Yes, with the ! right there. it blocks 50% of damage 1 once per battle, and is relatively cheap. Knowing what you already have for battling would be useful too. ;)

I have not got into 1p BD yet. I tried to figure it out the other day but failed, ha!

 

I mostly just use the battledome on a daily basis for codestones and during skirmishes (as I am only on for a small period of time per day/ sometimes only a couple times a week. 

 

I had a lvl 52 usul but my lab ray just changed her to an elephante... I will probably morph her back, so I am going to say I am looking for:

The only items I currently use are:

1) Golden Compass 2) Psellia's Fighting fan. 

 

I also have some crappier ones which i never use.

Looking for recommendations for battledome items. 

 

I am looking for the most useful items. I know jellyneo has a lot of information and i have looked through and bought a couple items for under 50k (golden compass and fighting fan). 

 

I am willing to spend 100k a piece, but would go up to 300k if it is really worth it.

 

Do you guys have ANY recommendations?

You just have to fight the Lab Scientist in the Battledome and wait for them to use the "Strange Potion" and your pet's gender will be changed.  :laughingsmiley:

I entered "items" but what I really meant is I am an obsessive purger/ seller/ donator. I like to sell in mass clumps, as if I were selling all my belongings. I hate clutter!

Yeah! I find some days are so lucky and several awesome things happen, like today, then others are just terrible and nothing interesting occurs. Would you happen to know how to get rid of a r90 item like a wraith staff? Does this process take longer I am guessing in the TP for someone to bite?

My petpet found a Wraith Staff today. If you are looking for one I would LOVE to get rid of it.

I've had a soldier in my nest for quite a few days as well. I can get the egg from under the nester in the same nest, but I'd like to have my full force of soldiers out in case there is an increment in pest advances, or a higher lvl decides to raid me xP

Moving the nest for repairs hasn't worked in letting me getting it out, nor has refreshing, running CCleaner (clearing history & cookies) or anything else. Just letting it rot there seems cruel, but I guess it's all I can do =/

 

Speaking of, have you tried letting your soldiers build it? I usually make them do all the work, such freeloaders <_<

a very similar thing is happening to me right now! my one nester REFUSES to lay an egg...no matter what I do. i've never had this problem in the past. I also cleaned out my browser history. Nothing has worked :/

The workers will not acknowledge or build a storage I bought.

 

I have tried the following:

1) moving it into different parts of the habitarium

2) Refreshing page/ closing habitarium window and reopening

3) Dropping many workers by it several times

 

And now everything except the little "x" or moving icon is invisible.

 

Has anyone experienced something similar? I want my storage back. :( I bought a new one anyways, but it is just so wasteful of resources!

Nousha, To be honest I won't have enough for the most expensive piece quite yet (I am a new returning user trying to earn as much as I can) . However, if you have either the one with the two islands or the little centered fish I would be interested in purchasing! Oh, and the far left middle piece that is around 100-105 k.

Oooh, it would be nice if I could get it for only a million. I've seen a single piece go for that. *sigh* Everyone is so mean about pricing. :sad01_anim: I suppose that's just because I don't believe in pricing as high as I can. I always sell for well under the SW price whenever possible. Not stupidly low, but I believe in giving people a break if I get lucky. :laughingsmiley:

I agree with you. I am always under the SW pricing as well. I hope to get lucky for a million--or do as others are mentioned and play KQ. I feel that will eat up A LOT of time though. *sigh* indeed.

 

hey, i've literally just bought a set of the lab map - separately not together. the sets on the trading post generally go for around 970k+ but if you go around scavenging for each piece you can save a lot (i think i saved like 40k). just be really careful not to buy the same piece twice. i totally got ripped off on the tp when i bought a piece that i thought i didn't have for 10k more than it was worth

Whatever I decide to do--I def will be careful with pricing. I am not one to splurge, so I will be scavenging!

 

I bought one for my side a few weeks ago and got it for 900k. Check the trades. The user I got it from was offering the most expensive piece for 450k and the other 8 pieces for 450k but they had multiple lots of each. I don't think I still have the username but I will check - if I do I'll message ya :rolleyes_anim:

Wow! Please message me if you find out. It would be good to know, even though I am not currently in the market for the full lab map. I am saving trying to get at least 500k atm...slowly but surely its happening :D That last map piece is killer though isn't it? :sad01_anim:

 

I haven't bought a single piece both for the Secret Lab Map and the Secret Petpet Map. I was just putting every piece I came across in my SDB and when i checked after a while, I just had all the pieces. Some were awarded from the Key Quest, others came as a RE.

I have heard key quest is great for that. Yet, I have not got anything from it yet--probably because I am not very good at winning. Maybe I will buy some of the cheaper pieces and hope that the universe will then sense I am looking.

 

Were the REs over the years or pretty close together, would you say?

Right now they estimate 1.024 mill for the full map.

Several pieces are above 100k so you'll have to look at Trading post and auctions for them
