Have you tried it with a different web browser? The Neopets map is Adobe Flash based. I know there was an update a few weeks ago. Maybe see if it (Flash) needs updating and, if so, update it?

I'm using Google Chrome and Adobe Flash updates its'self automatically and the same problem happened when I tried Internet Explorer which also had an up to date flash player. Thanks for the help though I think i found what was causing it. I installed Ad Block Plus onto Google Chrome and turned it on and the map went back to normal so it was probably the ads.

It depends on if you are into pet customization or not. I personally like the Christmas Vandagyre and the way they look and I haven't seen too many Christmas Vandagyres but if you want to be able to customize them then you would have limited options for them so there's that but if you are happy with the Vandagyre then I would keep her the way she currently is now.

It is not happening to me/my computer. I know this is a generic response, but have you tried clearing your cache and history?

The generic response is fine, I tried clearing the cache and history but it didn't solve anything. It may be because of the computer I'm using's age of 5 to 7 years old although it's worked with Neopets just fine before so i'm not too sure.

I'm not sure if this is happening to everyone or what but when I started playing Neopets last night the world map and maps for all the towns are appearing above the ads at the top of the screen and toolbar and still does today.Is this due to the site still being slightly buggy?

I can't wait for the Altador Cup to get here! Woo go Team Shenkuu! I think I will be playing lots of games for the tournament once summer break starts. Hopefully I will be able to get the stamp this time.

I have a lot of things that I collect or used to collect. I've collected books,plushies, Pokemon figures,Pokemon cards, Persona related merchandise (Really small collection),and I started a collection of sheet music of songs from anime and video games I hope to be able to play one day,anime merchandise, and bouncy balls. The bouncy balls were mini-ones I had got from vending machines in the grocery store, although half of them were a gift from one of my mom's friends who had brought this huge collection of them in a shopping bag and I kept them stored in this soccer-ball shaped container my mom got from work when one of her co-workers brought over similar containers that had an assortment of jello and passed them out. I'm over collecting them now though and decided to get rid of them since it just took space and I don't really have an interest in collecting them anymore.The Pokemon cards and figures were things I used to collect but don't as much anymore. I still keep them since I'm still a fan of the series and some cards are interesting to me since some I bought from the packs would be in different languages like German and Chinese, also because the art is fun to look at since the cards have different art styles.

There's been really cold weather but no snow yet. It snowed less than a foot Monday but it was so cold the snow turned to ice and none of it has melted very much in the lawns. Although the weather reporter was talking about the last time it was 6 degrees fahrenheit (which was a really long time ago) we got 20 inches of snow and I heard that some were predicting snow on Tuesday. So no power outtages but the heater is kinda broke since my uncle had disconnected the heat strips from the heat pump since they broke during the summer and hadn't been fixed. Now I just sleep with 4 blankets and wrap up like a burrito to get warm. When it was in the 10's I really couldn't tell it was cold until when I got out of bed but it was easier to tell when the numbers went into the single digits. The weekend is supposed to be in the 40's and then it's going to cool down and up back and forth. Hopefully we don't get anything too extreme because last year there were at least 2 weeks where people couldn't go to work or school due to the weather. Thankfully I'm more hot-blooded than most people so I don't have to worry about freezing and no water pipes have busted yet. One of our neighbor's water pipes burst sometime this morning and they just found out in the evening but it was fixed as soon as it was found, other than that nothing has happened but we do check on water pressure every once in awhile.

The NC mall seems to be working now for anyone who still needs to buy the backgrounds. I just bought 4 different backgrounds that were on sale. There doesn't seem to be too much lag for it right now either.

I haven't been able to buy anything from the shops in towns recently. They always appear out of stock for me and still do when I check an hour later. Unless I have just been trying to buy stuff at the wrong time of the day.

I honestly haven't been on Neo as much so I haven't experienced most glitches but the loading times have seemed to get longer and I'm not sure if this is just bad timing or me trying to buy things when more people are on but almost every time I go to a store now in the towns it is completely sold out. I'm ok with having to wait a little bit longer for loading times. It seems like it would be hard to find the source of a problem in a site as big as Neopets with only a few days to do so. Like Fullonparanoid said if they scheduled the downtime at a different time the staff wouldn't have to rush in fixing things. Hopefully the problems will be fixed soon but the pessimistic side in me is thinking that something like this could last for who knows how many more months or possibly be the downfall of Neopets. Since I only started playing in late 2005 or early 2006 and had took many long hiatuses I'm not sure if something like the situation on there right now as happened before.

I have about 320 to 370 Np I think. Most of it comes from savings since I don't go out and buy much often or if I do I play games to make up for the spent neopoints. The items in my shop aren't very rare but items I got from dailies or something from another player's shop that was low in price. I can consider myself rich since I feel like I have enough for most objects in shops in the towns but on when other player's shops are included and hard to find collectibles I would say middle class. 700,000 NP and up is rich to me but it seems 1 mil is rich or maybe average since it seems a wide amount of people have that amount.
