Today was a pretty lucky day. I won 20k NP from Buried Treasure, 2,500 from the Fruit Machine. But most importantly, I got the Symol Hole avatar! I did not expect to get it this soon at all, and caught me by surprise. It is my 200th avatar, so it led to a nice milestone.

How much is Tiki Amulet worth? It seems to be a collectors only item, and I doubt it is worth nearly the ~2.9 mil as the only TP price currently listed.

I make a lot of my NP from restocking at the Neopian shops. I try to restock unbuyables, so I go to shops like Kauvara's Magic where a single item can make you several hundred thousand NP. I also restock at shops that mostly restock lower profit items, though.

I would like price checks on Basic Mathematics and Starting Spells. I see the Trading Post prices are about 3M and 4M respectively, but would they actually sell at that price? Anyone with insight on these types of items?

I applied for an item lend from the ALP and stated that I had full pure NP collateral. However, I no longer have it in pure. Is there a way to cancel my application and do it again later? I have not found a specific way to contact the ALP about this.

I received Petpet Rescue today; it was quite a frustrating one, especially since I got 240+ several times before finally getting 255 for the avvie.

I also got a max score on Ruins Rampage this month, and I got my score reviewed by the next day. I say just wait, it will probably come soon.

Since it was the beginning of the month and I was playing the games for trophies, I decided to go for a few of the game avatars, especially the ones that require being on the hi-score table. I managed to sneak into the top 50 for Escape from Meridell Castle on the 2nd of the month for Draik - Escape From Meridell Castle, and a top 50 score on Maths Nightmare for Babaa - Maths Nightmare. I also today just got Typing Terror after a couple hours of failed attempts late last night, so I feel very fortunate for getting this avatar on only the second day after trying. Right after that, I went for Goparokko and I managed to get that, too. I remember a long time ago when I was playing Neopets on an old account, I was quite inept at the Flash games and couldn't even dream of achieving an avatar score. It feels refreshing to finally start achieving some of the game avatars this month.

I tried to upgrade my Splat-a-Sloth trophy from bronze to gold, but I submitted my score right after midnight so I didn't get a hi-score before the reset. However, I got pretty lucky and got a win streak of 5 day one on Bilge Dice for a silver Bilge Dice Streak trophy (it's no Lucky Streak avatar though...). I also submitted the max score for Ruins Rampage on day one, but it got reviewed and didn't get accepted until today, so it's just a silver score.

I believe the graphics on the front page of TDN might have been redrawn in Paint or something like that :P

Just kidding, I suspect an April "Fools" gag.

Today, I was quite surprised to have apparently been "volunteered" to foster a new Neopet. When I visit the Pound page, it tells me that it is closing and no longer accepting abandonments. However, I sense something fishy here. Is this a possible April "Fool's" gag?

There are some things that point to that. First of all, it happened on April 1st, and I could not find any information about it online, so I assume this just started happening today. Also, on the Pound page, it says that Dr Death is retiring, and the Pound is currently accepting applications. This, of course, technically makes no sense because it is of course automated by a website.

Anyway, just wanted to give my thoughts on this, and would like to hear more about this. I suspect that it is a gag, and hopefully so because I do not really want to be stuck with this pet since I did not choose the name and I do not like the name chosen for me.

Edit: Lol, nice one TDN. In case you were wondering, I originally wrote "April F ool's j oke" and "pr ank" without the spaces in between, instead of gag, and it was automatically replaced with phrases like "BRILLIANT IDEA".

I caught the monster on level 3. Is that really lucky or what?

I got 1713 on Time Tunnel to beat the Better Than You score of 1700. I was so happy, because while I was trying to get the avatar, I got exactly 1700 and was so mad I was only a point away.

I restocked my first (unbuyable) morphing potion ever at the Magic Shop today! It took me several hours, but I finally got a Silver Shoyru Morphing Potion.

After using this site for a while, I finally decided to make an account and to post in the forums.

I have had my Neopets account for a year now, although I used to have an account a long time ago that I forgot the password to and abandoned. (I hope that I am allowed to make a new main account)

I am basically addicted to restocking, which I have have been doing since I had my old account, but I only started to restock unbuyables this month.

Anyways, this is me saying "hi" to the forums.
