Wow, awesome score! I've never beaten 16 and that was a one off. Loving your totals as well, I can't be bothered with the maths but it looks like you've hit cap 3 times over, impressive. I wish I had the time and patience for that kind of playing, I'm doing better than I have before though. I've almost reached the number of MSN and SOSD games I played over the whole cup last year.

Oooo, I like the idea of podcasts, I might have to sort some out soon. Normally I watch TV to pass the time.

I also split up the time I play with other things. I have exams until the 24th so I play a certain number of games and then revise for a while and repeat.

100 games of SOSD seems like the most entertaining thing in the world after 2 hours of maths.

But there are 5 other teams in the bracket and with 4 bye days, there is only time for 5 matches in each round, we'll have had 4 matches but only faced 3/5 teams, with only 1 day left.

I'm assuming tomorrow will be a bye day, as they don't fall on the first or last day of a round and then there should only be one more day of this round, but there are two teams we haven't faced.

We've consistently scored the same number of points in each game so far, 5-5-4-5. Hopefully once the cup gets going a bit more we can push that up, because I think we might need to.

We're facing Roo Island again today and, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that mean we aren't going to face one of the teams in our bracket?

Yeah, while ASGs can be a little frustrating, I don't have a real issue with them. They play by the rules.

The ACGs are a big problem, I wish something could/would be done about them.

That doesn't mean it wasn't legit, that was the rules of the cup then, HW won fair and square as far as I can see.

At least we did better than TDN predicted us, if only by a little bit. Gotta look on the bright side.

There doesn't seem to be a way of winning the cup without being on a team that's getting help from one of the groups, cheating or otherwise. There was no question which teams were fighting it out for the trophy last year.
It's not just annoying for opposing teams, It devalues the efforts of players on the winning teams. I'm sure they have players who worked really hard and deserved to be recognised for that, but there are always going to be people saying 'they only won because...'.
None of this creates a nice atmosphere for anyone. I really wish something could be done about.

Someone said somewhere on the forum that they wouldn't mind a year without AC if it came back revamped. I agree, as long as the changes were significant and made the experience more enjoyable without losing the competitive edge. I think a lot of the fun has gone from the games and a lot of people are demoralised by the impossibility of winning fairly.

I think we have a nice bracket, comparatively, all things considered... none of them are nice.

The Minitheus bracket looks like a nightmare.

Moltara is worrying, they didn't get amazing scores yesterday but they've been sat at the top of the bracket for most of today. I still think we have a solid chance of coming second in this bracket either way.

This does seem to be a carbon copy of last years cup. A few member switches? For which they can't even get any of the graphics right?

Everything is the same, I was excited to see something new. I've signed up to play this year and I don't want to let my team down, but I don't think I could handle next year's cup being the same.

The same games, the same format, the same anything. It's not exciting, it's day two and I'm bored. The only reason I'm playing is because I want my team to do well, even if there's no chance we can actually win the cup.

Well, that could have gone better, but we still took it in the end :)

Seems like we need to watch out for Kreludor, they swept Roo Island which I did not expect. I expected it to be pretty even between them.

I dislike the system too, but I think we have a good chance of topping this bracket, so that's not too bad.

I've reached rank 1 fitting games around my activities for the day, now I've got a good few hours to kill so I'm hoping to get a fair amount into rank 2, maybe reach rank 3.

I like SOSD because I can play it while doing other things, it's the quickest way I can rank up.

I remember thinking 'this year i'll play a reasonable amount of slushie slinger, it can't be that bad!', but no, I still can't make myself play it that much. It seems that our team as a whole is pretty good on that one though, so hopefully I'm not letting us down too much with that one.

My favourite game to play is SOSD, then YYB, I don't like playing MSN more than a couple of times in a row, but I can slot it in between other games.

How is everyone feeling about the first day?

We're kind of quiet compared to some of the other teams.

This is my third year with KI, I played once many years ago and again last year :)

Been looking forward to this for quite some time, unfortunate that it always lands right in the middle of my exams, that's why I missed a few years.

Awesome guys, I can't wait to do this all over again next year!

1. I don't play everyday, so my average is probably lower, but when I play I make between 20,000 and 60,000 NP a day.

I make around 20,000 from flash games, 10,000 from key quest, a few 1,000 from dailies and the rest from shop sales. I sometimes make a lot more if my key quest prizes are especially nice.

2. I spend around 10,000 a day, mostly on restocking my shop. I'm saving up at the moment.

3. Around 30 mins to 1 hour on a school night and 2-3 hours on a weekend/holiday.

I hope we get one more day with the practice team, I'd love to be able to spend a day more to get a higher rank.

So, YYB guys, we've got to take this.

VP are pretty awesome at YYB, and I doubt we're gonna get MSN today.

Don't underestimate them because they're lower in our bracket, they can easily win this match against us, especially as they took YYB from RI the other day.

If we lose now and fall down, DC can take 4th from us.

I was ok to miss out on 3rd, but we are not falling further.

I just realized I'm going to miss another whole day, I've had lots of days when I haven't been able to play at all, (8 or so) and about 5 where I've only been able to play a few games, but I'm quite happy with what I've done so far.

The highest I've gotten before is rank 5, and I'm just about to hit rank 9 now, I doubt I'll make 10 but I'm definitely going to try :)

It's 3 in the morning where I am, so I need to stop before I fall asleep on my laptop keyboard again.

I've really enjoyed this cup and seriously hope I have more free time next year.

I've spent a lot of time at university open days and events etc. which won't happen next year, so I'm excited to do this all over again :)

Oh well, no third for us. Perhaps some people have given up because we kept getting put with TY, or hate the bracket system so much they stopped playing.

I reckon we can take MQ, but we shouldn't underestimate them, or overestimate ourselves, the last round showed us that we need to work harder if we want to beat other teams.

I wish I'd had more time this cup, I've been really busy over the last month, with 5 days I just couldn't play even one game on and many more when I had less than an hour.

I'm on rank 8 now and hoping to reach rank 10 by the end :)

I reckon we can place second in this bracket without too much trouble if we work hard and I doubt Meridell can take the top spot from Tyrannia in theirs. The match up between Altador and Terror Mountain should be pretty interesting.

I don't even care that we've had it rough the entire way, I just want to beat as many of the teams in this bracket as possible, I'm really looking forward to getting to play RI and AL. At least we know that whatever position we finish in we worked hard enough to deserve it and more :)

I won't be able to play at all tomorrow, I really hope we don't get Tyrannia because I'm desperate to give them something to remember!

I had 3 faerie yooyus and 2 darigan yooyus in one game just now. Normally I can't score with either type and end up wasting the whole game, but this time I managed to score pretty much straight away with all of them!
