  1. Definitely sticking to my original faction, the Order.

May have been smarter to pick the Sway since they have alot of support, but hopefully people won't go for the sway cause the avvie's been released.

And the Seekers in general don't seem to have much support.

The Order is looking promising this round.

  2. Well, the last post on this thread was December, therefore no one has discussed (or been able to discuss) the new battledome to earn neopoints. I personally find it incredibly profitable, even though you have a limited amount of chances per day. The fighting itself usually takes about 5 minutes to gain enough items to reach the limit, and chances are there is about 20K+ in codestones/other rare items in it for you.

  3. I thought this would be an interesting topic because as you guys know, there are TONS of ways to earn neopoints throughout the site.

    So my question is simple:

How do you earn your neopoints?

Personally, I use alot of common methods to earn neopoints.

    1) I'd have to say my most consistent source of income would be completing all of the dailies (outlined very nicely on TDN site).

    2) I have had much success in the battledome battling weaker opponents and picking up a couple codestones per day.

    3) If I have time on my hands, not much beats Key Quest personally and I can usually make almost 100,000 NP off a couple of keys.

    4) I still do enjoy playing flash games (especially since the 5x submit score event began) due to their profitability and the fact that they are entertaining.

I personally don't care for things like the stock market, restocking, etc. because in my opinion if I'm not having fun while earning neopoints, I might as well not be earning them at all. I know some people feel differently though and that's all good.

  4. Hi there, welcome to the forums :)

Yeah definitely check out the rules (I've broken a few accidentally and i read the rules, so look carefully :P)

Other than that, hope to get to know you around the forums and have fun!

  5. I think in a way they are serious.

Keep in mind that there are alot of young kids playing Neopets and they don't want little kids to get in the habit of "pounding" pets, because that's really not okay in real life.

That being said, they should and do have the option there as a last resort, but Neopets definitely doesn't support the idea of pounding pets just because they think it might form habits in kids that could continue through their lives.

I also agree that some of the wording may lead people to believe they are either a) super duper serious or b) completely messing around.

I think it's somewhere in between but that's just my take on it.

Very good point you bring up though.

  6. Well Ablak, there are a ton of different ways people create graphics such as the signatures and avatars you see around TDN.

Best case scenario is that you own image editing software like Photoshop, which you can use to edit photos and images (or create graphics).

Unfortunately, I personally don't own any editing software, so I use Microsoft Paint (comes standard on Windows) and various free internet websites that supply you with photos, images, effects, text styles, etc.

You can find alot of tutorials on youtube and the internet in general that will help you alot more than I can, so definitely look into some graphics tutorials.

    Best of Luck.

  7. Hello there.

I just bought the entire secret lab map and before I actually put it together, I figure I'd ask for some input from you guys:

Is the lab map worth such the large pricetag?

What's the best experience you've had with the lab map?

    Should I get it?

I appreciate absolutely any input at all!

    Thanks a bunch

    -Dave
