Me! I think I was about 7 when i read the first book and was hooked ever since. I remember when the 5th came out I read it in like two days - I was glued to the pages at all times. Growing up we (little sister and I) went through a rough time in our lives and were dirt poor and playing pretend that a magical letter from Hogwarts would arrive and whisk us away to become witches kind of kept us going. Now that I have my daughter I can't wait til she's old enough for me to read the series to her :) I think every little girl needs a Hermione to look up to.

Completed the customization and story of a new character this morning :)

I don't know how this happened, but I went from having all three different species to only having mootix. I'm not fussed with the larnikins, but I miss those little pinchits. I was so desperate I let my level 50 habi "die" in hopes that the professor would gift me with a pinchit nester (I have tons of mootix eggs saved) but alas, he just gave me another mootix nester! Argh!

 

Can anyone help me out and gift me a pinchit nester egg? I think we can do this if we are neofriends, right? I would be so appreciative, if not oh well mootix only it is.

Aw the Faeries Ruin one looks amazing. The only plots I've participated in are the Altador one and the Obelisk - I used the constellation one for forever but just recently switched to the obelisk one for a change. I love darker ones for sure.

Green is my favourite colour so 7/10 with points deducted due to randomness xD The pteri is all kinds of awesome though.

Question - Can I train a pet on a side account if I'm sending the codestones from my main? My side isn't yet 4 months old so I can't transfer my newly created battledome pet to my main just yet but I wanted to go ahead and start training him up. Also, when I initially created my side I opened a shop to get money from my main before I realized - duh - trades. I have nothing in the shop and haven't ever sold anything from it - do you think I could get in trouble? :/

According to jellyneo it's worth about 75000 NP, but I could only find one in the trades as part of a larger trade. I contacted the guy asking if he would be willing to sell seperate and for how much and he told me to make an offer. The only price I can base on is the one on jellyneo, but I'm worried about pissing the seller off by making an offer way below the one he has in mind. Anyone else have a clue what this is worth and how much I should offer?

Why is this? I guess I missed the memo. I bought a paintbrush to paint my neopet with and went to the Fountain and got this message:

Unfortunately it seems that too many Neopets have bathed in these magical waters and have used up all the fountain's magical power. Oh well :( Maybe if you come back at another time you will be slightly more lucky!

Well, that was fun while it lasted. I won't even bother with this wave - way out of my league. I've only been casually training my Chomby a couple weeks he's still only level 20 ~ I had to pull out an older neopet to try and finish the second wave. At least we can still fight the weaker ones and get codestones :)

I am so excited about this! I've never participated in anything like this or saw one unfold. The only site event trophy I have is the astronomy one. I'm confused though, is this going to revolve around the battledome or is it a puzzle solving game? Because I just started training my Chomby and he is still at "sea urchin" level.

Today I bought all pieces to the Secret Laboratory Map and gained access. Funfunfun.

I'd be a lot more wary of tattoo placement than content (although, obviously, boyfriend/girlfriend's names and internet memes are gigantic regrets in the making) because a tattoo can changes its meaning to you over life. Like, let's say you're young and carefree and hang out at the beach all day so you decide to tattoo something related to that just because. Later in life you've moved on to bigger things, like a career and a family. You are no longer that lazy carefree bum at the beach all day, but that doesn't mean you suddenly have a tattoo you can't relate to anymore. Maybe now it just represents being young in spirit and not taking yourself too seriously. You know?

 

But if you get that tattoo on your neck or your hand, then you're setting yourself up for trouble. A lot of companies and employers will not hire you with such a visible tattoo (and let's face it, neck and hand tats are pretty gangsta :laughingsmiley:) even in societies where tattoos are pretty mainstream. So I guess what I'm saying is it's not just the meaning/what you get tattooed, but more importantly WHERE you get it tattooed.

 

On the other hand I know people who regretted getting their tattoos done so SMALL (another mistake people make when scared to commit to a tattoo) or tattooed it in a place they knew wouldn't hurt as much knowing full well that tat would look better on their ribs (for example).

 

So I guess when talking of "regret" in the tattoo world, there are many different kinds. My advice is when considering your tattoo, just look at the big picture. Don't let temporary motives (like pain) dictate where or how you get tattooed, but keep in mind that it doesn't get in the way of your life plan (like a job).

 

Also, I wouldn't worry how it's gonna look when you're old, because you'll be wrinkly and yer bewbs'll sag to yer knees by then so who cares. :woot:
